The room was extremely clean. Julie at the front desk was absolutely magnificent, welcomed us upon arrival and was always courteous and ready to help. The only negative would be the water pressure for the sink was basically a trickle. Would definitely stay here again though

Comfortable setting. Great location downtown close to restaurants. The staff is very helpful and pleasant especially Tammy who runs the breakfast area. The only thing I did not like is the parking situation. I was able to check in easily by temporarily parking my car in the front. The parked garage is next to the Hampton Inn. They validate your ticket and parking is less. It is charged to your account when you checkout. The downfall is I was visiting a friend in Gainesville. The weekend there was the Art Fest. I was told my friend would have to pay higher fees for parking. All streets around the hotel were blocked off for the festival. My friend and I had to find a place where she could pick me up safely. We ended up eating out away from downtown.

The parking is offsite in a packed public multi level garage with a broken elevator and shares with the homeless. You'll have to haul your luggage down 4 flights of stairs then off to the hotel for check in. The two spots in front of the Hotel are supposedly for guests, but management doesn't enforce and makes you use the public garage. People with bad backs or any health problems should avoid this hotel. I'd post pictures if I could.
