The staff was amazing, especially the Receptionist. The restaurant was delicious with large portions sizes. Gift shop was fun, filled with cool southwestern arts. The hotels historic classic feel is totally iconic and worth visiting. However; the room (227),sits above the grill exhaust and made our room smell like fried food in the evening. We woke up to the smell of grilled onions in the morning.. don’t open the window! The beds could use an update, the rooms are classic and have a nice feel, but very small. Thx you for an experience.

If you’re looking for “unique”, look no further! Upon entry your eyes and sensibilities will be overwhelmed with western/ movie memorabilia! The decor in EVERY inch of the premises- lobby, gift shop, restaurant, bar and guest rooms is 100% reminiscent of movie making in years gone by. Each bedroom is a designated movie star’s- ours was the Robert Mitchum room. Yet, in spite of the kitschy atmosphere the food, drinks and accommodations are still commendable! Rooms are small but adequate, very clean and serviceable and the bed and linens great! Highly recommend the experience!
