The room was clean and the staff was very nice. However they really need to fix the heating system which did not work properly. My family was freezing at night time during this time of the year. We had to sleep with our sweatshirt on. It was very cold.

We arrived early from houston and the staff were great and we were able to check in early. We had no fridge in our room but the hotel gave us a complimentary breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful. Check-out was also a breeze. I highly recommend this hotel. The only issue was that we had to grab an uber to go and eat supper

Room was visibly dirty. Food splatters on the mirror and wall, rusty tub and the decorative throw on the door of bed had hair on it. Was only there for one night before cruise, if I was staying longer I would definitely complained and left.

The staff and hotel were overall exceptional, but I would to highlight some area where improvements is definitely needed. Our room temperature controls, the setting for heating didn’t provide any heat during the course of our stay. We had to request additional blankets. The hotel staff tried to inform me that it really don’t get all that cold in Galveston and that how it setup. Other guest told me that alway didn’t have heat in their room as well. The water had a slow stream from the sink and was not warm or hot. The staff did do they best they could to make us comfortable with the blankets and offered us free breakfast. It was indeed a really nice hotel, but those things that I’ve stated made it impossible to give a better rating and I didn’t expected to be staying in a cold room with bad water pressure.

At first entrance place was cleaned but odor of cleaning products was very strong! I noticed that at check in the other families were offered cookies for their stay but me with my 2 small kids weren’t- also I was the only one in line that had to fill out a vehicle info card. We only stayed one night so it was not bad. Accessibile to nearby attractions like Moody Gardens!

No bath towels wasn’t notified about it until I needed them had to purchase my own . The door wouldn’t lock and wouldn’t stay shut the additional lock at the top had to keep it shut the phone in the room did not open. I expressed this to the hotel and they refused for me to get a refund or another room .

Smell was terrible. Staff were extremely unprofessional. Bar tender was on speaker calls using fowl language. Resturant and Bar are very limited. Do not suggest stay here. Rooms were not clean.
