Walking into the hotel, the lobby was bright and clean. The smell of orange scented cleaning solution was strong but not overwhelming. When checking in, the receptionist informed me that I owed a ‘hotel service fee’ that was not included in my online charge. I told him that I would not pay this fee and to cancel my reservation; I would go next door to the Holiday Inn (they share a parking lot) if the hotl was going to charge me this additional ‘hotel service fee’. He changed his mind and decided not to charge me this hotel service fee.
When the elevator door open to the room floor, we were greet with dogs barking.
