First of all, I received no notice that the water would be out from 11am-4pm every day before I got there. There was a pamphlet in my room that I obviously wouldn’t have been able to read until I checked in. They gave me two water bottles at check in but gave no explanation. The walls are incredibly thin, so I heard every door open and close as if it were my own. I barely slept. The pamphlet also let me know that microwaves were only available in rooms on even numbered floors, so I had no way of heating any meals. I had to call for maintenance on the toilet because it barely flushed when the water was allegedly supposed to be working and got clogged. Praise to the maintenance team though because they were quick to fill the request. The room was also very warm when I walked in and the TV sucked. The welcome message on the TV said a new name every day, which was confusing. LIMITED dining facilities, only one restaurant that requires a reservation, so I had to order most of my meals. The maintenance team & cleaning ladies were 10/10. Very kind & efficient. There is a target across the street which was slightly convenient.

No water..

Upon checking in for a 4 night stay, informed the water would be shut off for 5 hours a day for our entire stay while they did scheduled upgrades to their water system. Since it was scheduled and not due to an emergency, guests should have been notified prior so we could make a choice to stay or find another hotel in the Disneyland area. When I complained, I was told that their system is old and there was no way to n notify guests in advance. I was also told I was welcome to try a hotel next door and not check in. I did actually check the rates near by and of course they were out of my budget last minute so I reluctantly checked in, we had traveled 300 miles by car with a toddler so we were tired and they had us in a bind.. I did ask for some compensation and was told they could not do anything for me because they would have to do it for all of the upset guests.. I did contact hotels.com customer service and they reached out to the hotel on my behalf.. they were able to get my parking comped but that was it.. we had to schedule our trips to Disney around the water shut offs., Instead of mornings at the park and afternoon rest we had to do the opposite which did not bear well with a toddler. We have stayed at this Marriott property before due to its proximity to Disney, restaurants, target and etc but will never give them my money again..

The only thing I would complain about is I think our room was right next to the elevator so there was this noise all night, however we always bring a sound machine so it was fine. We also booked it last minute and got a good deal so I’m sure that’s why.

Came back to find a vendor in the room without permission to be there, while trying to sort out what was going on, was approached by the Maintenance Manager abruptly and rudely about our entrance into our registered room. He was not present when we found door ajar and person inside. Vendor apologized, manager did not. Soured an otherwise pleasant stay. Asked GM to contact us, but call never came. Front desk agents very pleasant at check in and check out. Nice large rooms.

I was assigned to a disability room until I learned and asked for exchange. It took more than 30 minutes to have someone to turn on AC in the room when I was In hurry to get ready to leave for an event. Given directions for ice machines and tried three floors with signs says ‘not working’. The room conditions was not as I was expecting from Marriott brands.

The staff was very friends and helpful! The location is not too far from Disneyland and the bus service was very convenient. There was some pilling with the paint near the ceiling but the rooms were very clean and everything was functioning. Would come back again.
