Beautiful place loved our stay Friendly staff The hotel and grounds are kept immaculate Location is out of hustle and bustle but close enough to Walk to . I think the only 2 things were the carpet needs shampooed The beds are very firm and my husband said bring your own pillow . The breakfast was conveyor pancakes Scramble eggs a little to watery for my taste Sausage I think it could be browned longer

The only issue I had was I was a lil concerned that they had a bed bug cover on our bed and u could tell they previously sometime or another have had them because they had the blood spots on the cover in several spots, I never saw any bugs or signs on the walls or any way where else and the other bed had a new mattress with no bed bug cover on it which I thought was a lil strange so we did go to the office and did say something about our concern the guy in the office said they didn’t have any other rooms available that he would put it in the notes for the manager for us to talk to the manager ,come morning we didn’t get bitten and housekeeping came around I explained to them about the bedbug cover and I told them I reported it they said they didn’t get any notes from the office, they said they would change it for us , we came back later and they changed it and but one also on the other bed , like I said I don’t know how long ago they had them but , I never seen any or got bitten but the fact that they left the cover on like that , I would have thought they would have changed it out , it just don’t make them look very good is all it’s a nice lil place, but I do think it could have been a lil cleaner it was pretty dirty under the bed and the bed frame and the tub top was lil dusty and other places but I’m a lil ocd but I love the cabin look, I love the stream behind it to go outside and sit outside our balcony, very relaxing! I was hoping to see bears but didn’t lol

The property was close but not to close with the trolley stop just out front of the hotel. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. They had a complimentary breakfast that was decent.

Check in was very easy in the room was very nice. It was too warm to use the fireplace but sitting out on the balcony overlooking the flowing stream was very relaxing and oh so quiet. If I could see improvement anywhere.It would be in their continental breakfast. I chose to go out to eat.

Good location, needs updating

The location was great, close to the main strip but not right on it. It's next to the river so when you're on the balcony the river is right there. The front desk staff were really nice on check in and check out. Pool by the front office looked nice, they have 2 but I didn't see the other one. The buildings could use a fresh coat of paint and some repairs. Our room was plenty big enough with 2 queen beds and it was nice sitting on the balcony. Beds were pretty comfortable and there's a fireplace which we didn't use. Now for the bad things. The doors of our room were very hard to open. On our second night the key card stopped working, told the front desk and they said the cards were good so I'm guessing the part on the door was broken. Luckily we were in for the night. The room needs updating. Carpet was dirty, a couple towels were dirty and the fridge smelled really bad and was dirty with some kind of liquid spilled in it. The toilet was dirty under the seat. On the second night there was a cockroach in the shower, it was the only bug I saw the 2 nights we were there. The phone didn't work at all, not really an issue except I wanted to call the front desk about the key cards not working. One of the rooms next to or under mine was smoking on their back porch and it was really strong so made it a little unpleasant to sit on the balcony. I would stay again, it wasn't all that bad and the price was great. Even saw a bear by the river.

Yes, the area was clean. Yes, the staff was friendly. The free breakfast was below average.Don’t feel like it was in a very Travel friendly location for commuting. Ice machine was out in the building. I informed the front desk which and told me to go to the pool house for ice. That ice machine was also out. Wi-Fi absolutely horrible most of time it was unavailable.

Cute, cozy, cabin vibes stay.

I loved everything about this cozy spot. My expectations weren't high because my husband booked this place while driving through Tennessee late at night. The moment I walked into the room I fell in love instantly. Gives you the cabin vibes without being away from everything. This was my favorite stay while in Tennessee. So much so that we booked another night. Originally it was just a place to lay our heads to sleep, but ended up staying an extra day here. And then went to the Holiday inn downtown Gatlinburg. Between the two I preferred this place, and the kids loved the pool there more than the holiday inn.

Had hoped for better.

The staff was accommodating and friendly. No problem there but the room was not clean, old. I was expecting way more than I got based on the write up. No mattress covers on the beds, everything felt moist, sticky but that could have been the environment of being near the woods during the summer. I wouldn't stay again.

I liked that going out the front door I was only 5 minutes walking from downtown Gatlinburg, and out the back door I was in nature looking down at a flowing brook. Room was clean, comfortable and looked just about as advertised. Only possible complaint would be the eggs at breakfast.
