This lodge has a lot to offer. Many amenities. We had a room on the brook with a balcony. Worth the extra price. Very nice to sit and watch nature. The grounds are beautiful! Well maintained with plenty of space to walk or sit. There is a pool with two slides and a hot tub. We did not go in but other guests say it isn’t heated so may be a bit cool in early June when we went. There are charcoal grills and tables on the patio. We had a fireplace which we didn’t use but would be nice in cooler weather. The office had wood for $8 when we were there. Check in was easy and the staff was informative. Gift bag was a nice touch. Outside access to the rooms. Those walkways were not kept as well with some paper and litter but not obnoxious. The room was huge! (We booked the Honeymoon suite to ensure a balcony though they may have others with a balcony). Table and chairs with one comfy chair. Two would be nice for a honeymoon suite. Fridge, microwave and 2nd sink in that area. One bedside lamp. (Again, two would be nice.) The room needed some TLC though. Minor things like rust on the bottom of the bathroom door. Seemed clean until I looked at the bottom of my feet after a shower. A short walk on the carpet yielded black feet! Yikes! Probably need a couple of commercial shampooing’s to get it clean. The bed was surprisingly comfortable since it did have two deep indentations in it. Time for a new mattress. On the last night our TV wouldn’t

The room cleaning was not good. Moist smelly carpet, they just changed the towels but did not clean the room or bathroom or even made bed. Breakfast is not good as well, very bare minimum items in breakfast not even eggs or banana.. which is pretty common.

It felt like we were visiting family at this location. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and friendly. Wonderful balcony view of the brooke - we slept with the window open so we could hear it at night. We will be back.

It was amazing loved the view seen like4 bears there. Had a grate time. Pool is nice made us feel like kids again. Breakfast needs MEAT....but was good also. Will be back.

The only good things about this hotel were the wonderful front desk staff and the gentleman setting up the breakfast and the location of the hotel being right by the river and walking distance to the town. My low ranking is this hotel is very very dirty in general. The room was cleaned okay but the premises, balcony, elevator, corridors were very dirty. The hotel was very run down. I wouldn’t stay here again

Property was well placed with a creek in the back with the balconies overlooking. Pool was refreshing. Lots of places to sit and enjoy the view. Room was spacious and well equipped with a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Location was also an advantage with being half mile from downtown. Also, the trolley stops right in front. Highly recommend.

First room we were givin was not clean , hair in the tub and thc vape left on the back deck . But … they did upgrade our room for free and the next one was very nice and clean . Really enjoyed our stay and will stay again another time .

The hotel was clean with all the basic necessities. But nothing extra. And for the price I guess that was ok. All fixtures and furniture appeared to be new. There was no closet in the room, which was weird, but they did have some hooks on the wall. The staff were super nice.

Great experience in the heart of the Smokey Mountains. Beautiful scenery and a dreamy atmosphere with the balcony over the creek. Very spacious and romantic atmosphere that reflect the mountain theme. Closed to downtown. Full amenities. Ok limited breakfast buffet. The furniture could use serious updates, sofa was very old and the bed was not very comfortable.

Nice hotel right on the brook with back doors to individual sitting areas on the water. Rooms were sufficient and clean. Hotel staff greeted with a warm welcome and were very helpful. Only complaint is the breakfast area no eggs or breakfast meats mostly bread items and pancakes. Overall stay was pleasant.
