River Terrace is an older property, but the room was clean and the bed was comfy. There was not enough lighting in the room. We had to ask for clean towels and coffee packets each day. It is, though, very convenient to all of downtown Gatlinburg.

Rooms are clean. Has balcony with 2 chairs, ours was view of parking lot but nice to get outside. Close to most of what we wanted to day. Everyone was very nice and accommodating.

Staff were awesome. Property is a bit dated, (i.e. carpet needed to be replaced, things not working) but many are in Gatlinburg. The problem for us was that the wifi was not working. This was a big deal as my wife works remotely. It looks like it is another hotel that has been bought by an investment company and is being bled. The saving grace was the staff even though they were a bit overloaded. For instance one person at check in during peak time.
