Girl’s Trip

The Appy was really nice, bed was really comfortable. The room was clean and had nice outdoorsy decor. We came in late and left early, so we didn’t use any amenities. Both pools were open, so they must be heated because it was rather chilly. The only thing is I had an allergic reaction to something in the room and woke up at 5:30 am barely able to breathe or swallow. Ended up taking a shower and checking out not long after so I could remove myself from whatever it was. Because of this I would not stay there again even though it’s a nice place.

The stories on the walls and other little quirks about the hotel was great to look at and to see/find. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here and learning about the Appalachian trails. Great spot and very comforting it’s a family and safe place I never worried about any of my belongings there. 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND!!

When we checked in, I inquired about hotel having a safe to store an item. I asked about retrieval in the AM and we were assured manager would be on duty to retrieve. At checkout there was a young lady, not the manager on duty. She could not get the safe open, was calling for assistance and I began panicking. Long story short, we did get our item when manager arrived. It did, however, delay our departure. Other than that, our stay was great!! Hotel was lovely and rooms super comfy.

Great stay

The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. It has very fun decor for the mountain area. It’s situated nicely by being close to the main Gatlinburg area, but far enough for it to be quiet in the evening. Breakfast was ok, typical but not extraordinary.

Loved our stay at Appy Lodge!! Staff were so informative and friendly. Breakfast was great. Loved that trolley stop was right outside to take to Gatlinsburg center.
