Ghosted by the owner. I was making perfect contact with the owner from the beginning. She contacted me only after i had already gone through VRBO Care after check out.First issue I texted about was the microwave not working and there was an ant problem. The owner did not respond with any cause for concern (i will have these things addressed was the response). At that point the ant situation seemed minor, so I went on to try and enjoy my husbands birthday weekend. I texted her a day later letting her know that the toilet was broken, and in order to flush, we had to do it manually through the tank. Never received any response. Then ants started falling on me while I slept. Needlessto say, I'm going home exhausted. This place needs to be bombed for bugs 100%. At this point I was helped out by VRBO and just want to forget this place all together. The sad thing is, it's a cute place, in a great location, I just think they do the bare minimum to get by. Read other reviews before you book, I wish I had. There was another person that mentioned ants over A MONTH AGO. Actual list of issues: Microwave broken handle (does not work).Rain shower head broken, we put a zip tie on it which helped from getting water boarded in the shower. The mattress was so old. We even rotated it ourselves, we both have back problems and the old worn out bed didn't help. MAJOR carpenter ant issue.Hot tub was low on water and only some of the jets worked. Ac return vent was Covered in dust.
