We were treated like second class citizens because we used an online booking site. We were restricted on the rooms available and the floors available. We were moved closer to the elevator when requested, but the bed in our room was the worst we have EVER come across. The mattress sunk in the middle and it was quite uncomfortable for sleeping. You would think an establishment would be glad that a person booked their rooms, but we were made to feel like we were in the wrong for using Expedia. The place itself was nice, but we were made to feel like we were not a good as other people.

ABSOLUTE WORST CHECK-IN EXPERIENCE EVER!

Check-in was absolutely worst experience ever at a hotel! Because we were not "VIP" we stood in line for over 1/2 hour waiting for the "VIP" people to check in at every single open spot at a desk! Absolutely ridiculous how we and other people were treated waiting to check-in to an over-priced hotel room. Our money spends the same as them!

Beautiful room with an amazing view. Shower had shower head with 4 massage heads and a hand shower head. Hotel and casino were welcoming and fancy. Only complaint is the furniture has glass toppers. The furniture under the glass tippers was really gross.

Limited places to eat on site. Ate two meals (one supper, one breakfast) at the Ameristar. Got both of them wrong. Finally got right order, but, the Prime Rib I ordered tasted and chewed more like a beef brisket. Not bad flavor for a brisket, but I wanted and ordered Prime Rib. Ordered an omelet with two cheeses and spinach, it came with mushrooms and peppers. Food was decent, but a little costly for what you get (and that's if you get what you order. Some of the staff acted like they'd rather be someplace else.
