Since this was the first time we've visited Gettysburg, we knew nothing about the area. We've had good luck staying in Sleep Inn's before, so we tried this one. Everything about the place outside of our room was fine - close to shopping, relatively close to the visitor's center of the Battlefield Museum and a variety of places to eat. Our only "complaint" is that we stayed in a non-smoking room (maybe all of them are??). When we walked into the room the first time, the door to the bathroom was closed. When my wife opened it, the smell of smoke was VERY noticeable!! In this unit, when you turned the light on for the bathroom, the ceiling ventilating fan automatically came on. We left the light on with the ventilating fan running for over an hour. This helped, but even after our 3rd day in this unit, you could still smell the odor of smoke - not as strong as it was the first day.

Room was unsafe and had bad electrical issues. Didnt want to give us a new room eventually did and had stains on the floor, counter and bed. They didn’t want to give full refund. Expedia got me my money back

Hotel was having some work done, it was clean easy in / easy out we needed a room that was for somebody that has allergies- the room we got was great. This hotel does not allow pets except for service animals. It was very clean. Would recommend this hotel, clean, reasonably priced

Our overall stay was very nice, staff helpful, great spacious room, everything clean but what they call breakfast is really not a breakfast. They need to work on that. Variety is lacking and of what they offer the amount is not sufficient and needs to be restocked.
