1 night stay in lodge section of the Castle Manor. Recently updated spacious, comfortable room and bathroom with a private balcony. The walls are thin, could hear other guests and their TV loud and clear.

The website is very misleading.We booked a trip to Gloucester Massachusetts for our 20th wedding anniversary. This was a suggested place to stay. Only pictures shown is from the Castle Manor Inn. Not the wing extensions that we stayed in, that's not mentioned at all on the site. To charge $200 for a room that is probably only worth $80. Old outdated rooms, musty, very hard bed, took forever to get not so hot water. Then to mention about enjoying a "FREE" breakfast that wasn't free, but was charging $25 per plate. Very dissappointed with our stay and unfortunately will not be staying there again. And if I can get some kind of a refund on our room, unfortunately we will not go through Expedia again.

We had a very enjoyable stay! Our host was very friendly, welcoming and genuinely happy to have us there. We also needed some recommendations for the area and were very surprised to have such great waterfront dining and drinks nearby. The room was clean and loved the memory foam bed and dual shower. Grounds were beautiful and property was close to beaches and downtown's attractions. Overall, I’d stay again and recommend to friends & family.
