Way too dirty. The room wasnt cleaned at all. One family member who was using another room felt something crawling on her leg while she was sleeping, and it was a roach. This motel is very cheap but there is a reason…..DONT BOOK THIS MOTEL

Nice brewery right behind the hotel, close to restaurants and the river. Guy at the front desk seemed to be annoyed that he had to check me in. Towels were stained, and there were mosquitoes squashed on the walls of the room. The kids enjoyed the outdoor pool.

Close to Downtown, ample parking space. Seems like they are understaffed though, called Front desk twice, no response and no call backs to follow up. Cleanliness was satisfactory. Had a good experience overall.

Unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay. We had a pet friendly room, which was supposed to have AC and even after asking the front desk staff for help with the AC, our room was still 29 degrees all night. The bathroom also needed maintenance, the shower head was coming off the wall, and the flooring didn’t actually connect to the bathtub, with a half inch space between, and the sink needed to be pulled hard to turn on. The room was overall needing a good clean as there was dirt and dust everywhere. We asked the front desk for 2 pillows, and the staff were clearly upset, asking us how many people we had in the room and why we would need an extra pillow (the pillows were beyond flat). So overall, yes it is one of the cheaper places in town, but we would pay the extra and go somewhere else.

Checked in on time, the room was not ready so we came back 30 minutes later. Sheets were clean, comforter and bedspread were dirty. Bathroom was so tiny you couldn’t open the door until you almost fell into the tub. Tub was dirty. We stayed three nights and had to use the same towels and washcloths the whole time. Advertised as having an indoor pool and spa - was told they didn’t have them. Outdoor pool was only open 5-10 pm, locked otherwise, water was very cloudy so we couldn’t use it. We will not stay there again.

Room was what you would expect from a budget motel, but the sheets were clean and the room was good. The highlight was the outdoor pool(which was open from 5pm-10pm), it was deep and fun for us and the kids! Easy walking to downtown golden , so nice not to have to use the car after driving all day.

Be careful if they said your booking is cancelled

When we arrived late at night, around 11 pm, the receptionist told us our booking was cancelled. But our booking was still there on the Hotel.com app, no one cancelled it. And why would we if we were coming. He asked us to pay new price which is $40 higher than we booked. We were tired, the kids were tired, and ran into this situation. Then a guy came in at that exact time asking for vacant. I didn't notice at that time. Now thinking back, I think we were set up to pay more. They ended up charging us higher.price than we booked. Be careful with this motel.

The property management was friendly and kind, checking us in an hour early - which was greatly appreciated after a long drive! The hotel is very dated, with older fixtures. However, it was also very, very clean. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet our room was - we did not hear our neighbours beside or above us. Once the door closed, we also did not hear anyone in the parking lot. The motel is in a lovely, walkable area near many excellent cafés and restaurants. I would stay here again.
