Quiet, near a convenience store It’s time that’sThe rugs in the elevators be replaced. They are dirty but I realize this particular hotel hosts a lot of construction crew personnel.

The check-in was quick and easy. The attendant was friendly and helpful and accommodated our request for a third floor room. The room is spacious and clean and we had a good night’s sleep! I also appreciate the breakfast that was offered in the morning.

I reserved a room with a king bed and sofa and was given a room with 2 double beds and no sofa. When I went to the front desk I was told that only the rooms with queen beds were cleaned that day. I was also told that the queen room is what I booked. I showed the staff member my confirmation which clearly said king bed and sofa. After 10 minutes or so, I was told that they did have a king room for me. The room was adequate but had hair in the bathtub. Also, the fridge had a buildup of ice which melted and leaked onto the carpet.

Front desk employees who look after the breakfast details need to be more aware of the food. Multiple times over the 3 mornings the hot food was empty and had to go ask for it to be replenished. Just kept being one thing after another. Person just talked on cell phone for hours and not paying attention to what needed to be done. Asked for tea bags and was just told no, we only have coffee. First hotel I have ever stayed at where coffee is served but no tea.

We had an overall positive experience at Grand Forks Lodge and Suites. The staff was helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Our room (king, accessible) was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast offered a decent selection. However, the pool was quite small and the hot tub could use some attention. The noisy fan on our AC unit was bordering on obnoxious with a high pitched drone, which impeded our sleep. For the price, this was a good spot for us. I would stay again; I'd just make sure to pack ear plugs!

Breakfast the morning of 6/25/25 egg "omelette" was served cold...I brought it to the attention of the gentleman working there and he stated that it just came out of the oven...either it wasn't heated up long enough or the oven is faulty...he presented a small argument, uopn which I told him to try it! My son and I left and got breakfast at a restaurant instead. The carpets throughout the hotel, especially in the two elevators are very dirty and really should be replaced! Otherwise, our stay was fine and I would stay there again.
