Good stay

The room was on a compact side but clean, beds were comfortable, and there were many power outlets to charge phones and use a laptop. I like the sink separate from toilet and bath. The housekeepers came in a middle day and changed the towels. Though this was a nice service, was there a way to indicate that we did not need new towels to conserve water and energy (since we are here only two nights)? I liked the recycle bin in the room! Enjoyed the breakfast that included eggs, sausage, bisquit and gravy. I liked that the area has many dining options and there is Meijer across from it. There is no swimmimg pool. This was fine with us as we went to the big lake and a friend's lake for swimming. Overall we had a good stay.

The bathroom had mold. I have an allergy. The tub looked dirty due to stains and discoloration. Bathroom soap dispensers had caked-on residue. Chunks of random things on the bathroom wall. Dark stains on lamp shades and curtains.

We have stayed in Baymonts before. It is our go to hotel. This one is shabby; bathroom walls peeling, not cleaned well in bathroom, fingerprints on appliances, stairwell rail very dirty.

We come to Grand Rapids for music festivals and concerts for work. We always stay at this location. There are 3 restaurants in walking distance just through the parking lot, not to mention Meijer at the main light and Walmart down the street. It’s especially convenient 11 minute drive to downtown.

We stayed 2 nights while we visited for the Upheaval Festival. The room was perfectly clean. We had a King Jacuzzi room and the setup was better than many we stayed in. The tub had its own separate room with a tv and its own air conditioner that was separate from the main room. Great water pressure and hot water no matter what time of day. Room was spotless when we arrived. Check in was fast and easy. Staff was good. Had very little interaction, but zero problems. Breakfast was similar to most places. Nothing amazing, but nothing terrible. Good fuel for a few busy days.

There were ants crawling on the counter by our tv. We let staff know and when we came back there were still ants even after cleaning. I could understand if we were on the 1st floor but obviously there was something in our room prior to us checking in that causes them to return

Excellent location, everything worked very well for the price paid. What I didn't like was that I reported to the Front Desk that there was a noise that kept me awake. That noise hadn't happened the night before. The noise continued until 4:00 a.m. The Front Desk didn't do anything. I was hoping they would at least move me to a different room, since I reported it at 11:30 p.m. I recorded the noise with my cell phone, and they could hear it. I returned to my room and had to put on some music on my phone to try to sleep.

1. Property is unsafe, Backdoor always open: lock doesn't work. 2. We stayed for 2 nights. After staying for a night, we asked for room service to clean and change the towels. The front desk lady rudely told us that this is a self-service hotel and they do not clean the room. After contacting Expedia, she retracted and said she assumed we were staying for one night. She promised service, but that service was not performed till 4 hours later. 3. Also, the lady contacted other guests and shared the incident, which is a strict violation fo Privacy. I want Expedia to have a full investigation of this property and consider removing it from their portal.
