Strange experience, unlike like other IHG to date

Strange vibes at this hotel. They collect data for the local municipality - the sheet you fill out isnt for their own purposes, and you must have your exact license plate number at check in. Save yourself a walk by having it with you. In winter their parking lot may make that walk unpleasant. Not sure if was the night clerk's lack of customer service skills, my lack of patience with that, the fact the parking lot wasnt cleared of 4" snow, no spots close. or an intrusive new ordinance - which the local jurisdiction requires names, addresses, license plate numbers of hotel customers. They also require of the hotel the security camera info and lighting locations and specific room phone locations. Ordinance went into effect Jan 1 2025, so check in experience will have changed from earlier dates. Check-in and parking lot were anomalous for being unpleasant, but the Hotel room was same as IHG Holiday Inn Express - clean and decent shape. I did talk with Manager, Justin, in the AM, and he was polite and the info abt the ordinance comes from him. Site also may cater to airport parking traffic, making parking lot cleanup more difficult for the plow crew. See pics

Nice hotel

We changed from a crappy hotel (sonesta) near the woodland mall to this one. Much better, cleaner, everything worked, staff was great and an actual breakfast that was free when it said it was free!

The hotel was very CLEAN. Their staff did an excellent job with our room. I have no complaints. First time at a holiday Inn Express. The receptionist was very courteous, pleasant and helpful. I will definitely stay there again.

Started off good. Workers were friendly. They charged my card extra money then what the hotel stay costed.. I called to ask why and they won’t give me answers. Some workers had attitude the entire time. Definitely would never stay there again.
