Check in time is late, don’t even think about an early check in. There was trash over flowing all over the building and outside as well. The staff was indifferent towards any of the issues that came up. The building is being remodeled but if they don’t hire staff that cares about the customers this place will continue to be a mess. They don’t seem to know what they are doing at all.

Absolutely disgusting hotel. Person at the front counter was rude and held a personal phone conversation with someone while checking us in. We get into our room to find it dusty and gross. Shower curtain was too short for the tub, trash in the can still. There was dog poop outside our door, I let someone know about it and was never cleaned up. Was still there after 12+ hours…. We get down to the breakfast area around 745-8, food is already gone and no one is replenishing it. For almost 130 bucks a night it’s just ridiculous how this place looked and felt. Would recommend anyone and everyone to stay as far away as possible! Spoke with a front counter about a refund and said they would be in contact. Had to continuously text them and have not gotten a resolution yet… it’s been two weeks. STAY AWAY!

Overall a reliable inexpensive hotel for a quick stay, especially for people seeking a place to sleep while enjoying outdoor activity around Grayling. Don’t expect to be overwhelmed. It’s a bargain hotel, with some additional amenities that you might appreciate.

When we arrived they didn’t have the room that I reserved and already paid for. If it’s reserved it shouldn’t be sold again! Couldn’t use the door from the hallway because it didn’t work, had to use pool side door. Neither door had the flip lock they were both broken and pool side door didn’t even have dead bolt lock. Housekeeping walked in on us in the morning and said they thought we checked out (still should knock)!!

No ironing board; I had to use the back of the toilet. Sink stopped up. Website inaccurate: refrigerator & microwave not listed, even though the room had them. Jacuzzi listed, but there was not one; VERY disappointing. Juice and water mixed in the machine; too watery to drink.

The facility is too large to be maintained. Everything is filthy and broken. Ice machines out of order. Back access door doesn’t latch so anyone off street can come in. Toilets not working. Stains on walls, curtains, bedding and furniture. Coffee pots empty. Wish I would have thought to take photos.

Hotel under a remodel.

I have been doing maintenance in nursing homes, hospital and apartments for over 30 years. Upon arrival, building is in need of an update. Entrance and reception areas were nice, clean. To their credit, there are pages on the walls throughout stating that they are in the middle of a remodel. The hostess at the registration was friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausage patties, waffle maker and all the other stuff. The room was partially remodeled with new laminate flooring. Room was clean. The ceiling tiles in the bathroom (yes, ceiling tile. rest of the room was popcorn texturing), some of them were not sitting correctly and open to the second floor. Toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall. Room had some drywall patches. The refrigerator was on the warmest setting, had to wait for it to cool down. TV was set to surround sound (which there is none) and you could not hear the voice, so you turn it up and then when the music plays in the movies, it was so loud. I fixed that and I am sure my neighbor was happy. AC worked well but is in a need of a diffuser, to point it up. It blows at the bed. Every 1 of the ice makers were out of order. Not sure what was going on there, you had to go to the attached bar to get ice. Vending machines did not have product in them so one would assume that they do not work. They did have a small selection at registration to purchase. Hot tub was not working Pool area was huge and very nice.

Made a reservation and pre paid for a king room. When we arrived they said the room we reserved wasn’t available so they gave us a double queen room. Reservation should reserve the room so it isn’t available to sell again!! Hall door didn’t work so had to use pool side door which didn’t lock. Housekeeper walked in on us in the morning because they thought we already left (you should still knock). And sweep the floor in the rooms!!

The room was clean and comfortable. The pool area was very nice. However, there is no elevator and it needs some upgrading. You can tell they are working on it and maybe with time, it will be very nice. I would stay there again but its not a full out entertainment place.

I arrived 25 mins after the 4 pm check in time, to be told they were having problems with the cleaning staff and would have to check my room before they checked me in. The manager said she would check it herself, so i waited another 20 mins, and when she came back she said she had gotten the room ready herself, and told me to park out back and come in the back door, so i did, but i found the back security door inoperative, and open, and when i went in to find my room on the second floor i found that they have no elevator, and my daughter has a disability and can't climb that many stairs. The manager never offered to put me in a ground level room, and said i would need to call expedia to canx my reservation, and that as soon as they got the call from expedia they would process my refund, but it has now been 5 days with no refund.
