It’s ok

Overall, it was OK. The condition of the room definitely needed some upgrades. There were scratches on the window like someone has scratched it with the key, the caulking looked unprofessional like someone’s uncle had did it, the bath tub stains in it, but not like it was dirty more like that’s just how the tube looked. There were other small issues that would lead you to believe they don’t often look at the maintenance of the room.

Housekeeping seems to run the show. When we arrived at our room the housekeeper said “you can’t stay in this room”. She got on her phone and spoke to someone then told us someone was coming with a new key. After a few minutes when nobody showed up I went down to the front desk. The desk clerk knew nothing about the mix up but immediately gave us another room. Kudos to her.

Good price & service

Gina was great- friendly and she made sure we were comfortable with suite. She did share that the hotel is under renovations and we look forward to visiting again and checking out the changes! We’ve been coming here for years. Staff always nice. Breakfast has many options and good quality.

Looks as if it’s undergoing renovation but that wasn’t made clear. It smells of mildew. The staff was very friendly but i wouldn’t stay here again.

When we arrived, the room key machine was broken. The desk clerk had to walk guests to their room to allow access each time but she was gracious and polite..not really an issue. We requested a late check out on Saturday due to a funeral that would end aroud 2 pm. We were granted till 1:30. all our family poured their luggage into our room. The "cleaning lady" threw a tantrum in the lobby about how we should have left and taken our stuff at check out time not knowing that some of the family was in the lobby while we changed clothes to ready ourselves to leave. she was classless and unkind. All the other workers were gracious and kind.

This may have been just poor timing but the hotel was going through remodeling, the doors didn’t work due to a card reader issue. The shower curtain allowed water to pour on the bathroom floor but that wasn’t bad as it was a very sticky floor anyway. Just seems to be poorly managed.

Perfect for an overnight stay

Some of the pictures for this hotel aren’t updated, so don’t let that deter you. I always stay here for work, and my stay is always pleasant. Staff ensures you are comfortable and accommodated properly. Beds are clean and very comfortable, and breakfast is AMAZING. This is not a 5-star hotel, but it’s perfect for an overnight stay.
