Perfect getaway!!

Unit exceeded our expectations from the moment we walked in the door till the last day that was hard to leave!! Everything was perfect, was quiet, there were no loud neighbors as we never knew that the building was as occupied as it was. Spontaneous trip for a 5 day getaway and couldn't have long planned a better place!! Restaurants were close, made a couple quick trips to Walmart for a few items and the slow speed back route was a great little quick scenic route that made for a 20 minute round trip. Unit was very clean, perfect location, A/C was cold, balcony was large so that you don't feel cramped perfect place for morning coffee and evening cocktails!!! Beach was amazing, pool was perfect, all appliances and furnishings worked without a glitch!! Will definitely be back!!

Nice room-dirty property

The room was as listed. Clean and updated, the elevator had been urinated in and not cleaned for days, and pool area was filthy the entire stay.

Myself and two of my sisters stayed at your condo on the beach. We enjoyed to the condo and the view of the beach. All the amenities of the condo were great. The balcony was awesome.

Less than expected

This property"looked" good, but the true cleanliness once inside was revealed. Most things were, "wiped" down. Used toiletries were left in the bathroom, and the bedding was simply made up, not changed. Sand was on the sheets, and the comforters had a awful smell. The property outside the room was good. Beach was great. Pool was great.

Need another week

The condo is in a good location, close to everything, especially the state park, which we enjoy. One of the best things about this unit is the kitchen, which is supplied with many cooking and eating supplies. Usually there's just the bare minimum, but this place has a kitchen prepared for you to actually spend time enjoying meals. Need another week because the weather wasn't great.:(

The room had carpet in the living area. I think this is bad for a beach situation. The appliances were a little outdated. The living area ceiling, where the air blows out was very dirty, needed to be cleaned. The shower wouldn't drain until the water was cut off for about 10 minutes. The room had a bad odor when we arrived. We had to spray a can of lysol to get rid of the odor. We will never stay at this location again.

Perfect for a family of 4

Perfect location, close to the pier and many restaurants. The condo was very clean with a well stocked kitchen. It has a great patio set and the condo sits very close to the beach. The pool was clean. Our check in process was easy and friendly. We did have a “false alarm” fire alarm go off at 4am for about 35 min and had to stand outside. No fault whatsoever of the property management but it took the fire dept a very long time to get there. That’s my only negative experience with the stay. If we go back to Gulf Shores we will stay here again!

Very small on the inside; rough on the outside

This condo is tiny and in a building that is scary-looking from the outside. The new kitchen is nice, and the den and bathroom are ok, but the door to the (very small) deck fogs up when the AC is on, so you can't see the water, and the sleeping areas are tight. The feeling of tightness is compounded by the low ceilings (7 feet?) in that part of the condo. The access to the beach is phenomenal, though.

Excellent Beachfront Access

We had a great time and enjoyed the ease of access to the beach and pier. Restaurants were close and anything you may have not brought with you was available at a handy local shop. The condo had everything we needed to cook, clean and the kids stayed entertained. We will definitely book this location again!

Would Absolutely Return

You cannot beat the location of this condo. Steps to the beach make it easy to come back in for a snack or potty break. Was quiet, clean, and as pictured. My kids loved the bunk beds. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything you could need for a night in. The balcony was my favorite spot to sit and listen to the waves. We want to come back....soon hopefully!

Interesting Experience

This condo is located in an older building which needs some attention. For the price, I expected as much. It was located in a nice spot...close to restaurants, activities, and state park. The condo itself was decorated nicely and had everything that we needed. I especially appreciated the washer and dryer in the unit. Our only complaint was that the condo was not clean. Upon arrival we immediately noticed that the dining table and coffee table were covered in dirt/sand/crumbs. I cleaned all the surfaces and vacuumed the floors (vacuum is in the unit). As we were preparing for bed that evening, we discovered a huge brown stain on the pull-out couch mattress. I contacted Bender the next morning about the mattress, and they had management bring over an air mattress. I'm sure I could have contacted them about the tables and floors needing cleaned, but we were there when COVID cases were alarmingly high, and I was not comfortable having anyone else in the unit, so I just did it myself. Hopefully the owners replace the mattress because management has been made aware, and it is disgusting. Our kids enjoyed the pool and the proximity to the beach. They were able to find some nice shells along the beach. The balcony was nice. We would have enjoyed it more if neighboring people hadn't been smoking cigars, but that's not the fault of Bender. Overall, it was ok for the price, but we will not stay here again.

Price is too much for what you get

We rented the condo for 6 nights and had 5 people staying there. I paid almost $2000 for the 6 nights and still had to go to Walmart to get the most basic things. We had to go buy hand soap, toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher packets, salt/pepper, etc. we only had 1 washcloth and 1 towel per person so I had to do laundry every night so that we could shower daily. There isn’t even any ceiling fans anywhere in the place, that would make it more comfortable for some people. In the kitchen there were things in the cabinet like a salad spinner and a butter maker-but there was only one spatula to be found. I’m thinking spatulas would be a more commonly used item and when trying to cook a full breakfast, more than one would come in handy. I just feel like what I paid to stay there I shouldn’t have had to go spend more money on some basic items like I listed above. For next year I will be checking out to find a hotel with a kitchenette, they will at least give me fresh towels daily so I don’t have to do laundry daily while on vacation.

Just book it!!!

We had a wonderful time. Condo was clean and quiet. The pool and the beach were super close. The furniture on the balcony was a comfy plus. I enjoyed drinking my morning coffee on the balcony and watching the waves. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!!! Thank you so much :).
