The exterior may look old and historic, but the room was quite modern, very spacious and with a very high ceiling. Wifi coverage was great, the bed stands had power outlets, the bathroom was very clean and well designed and had everything you'd need. The gym was relatively well equipped by hotel standards and well maintained, as were the saunas. The lobby and other amenities were also quite nice, with two large rooms that served as a kind of library. It almost felt like living in a palace, except with a modern room. I just wish I had been staying longer! The only minor complaint was that housekeeping didn't respect the do not disturb sign on two occasions. Transportation was also super convenient since the U3 U-Bahn station was right outside the front door of the hotel.
Spacious with a high ceiling. Bathroom as well as a closet about the size of a full walk in closet are behind.
Large windows too.

When I checked in, my reservation said that I am eligible for an ungraded, if one is available. I asked if one was an available the guy said “you’re reservation does not allow for that”. And I said “is one not available or am I not eligible for one?” He said I was not eligible. When I showed him that I was in fact, eligible for one he said “sorry it’s not available”, which was an obvious lie because options were available online. All the ladies working had a great attitude and the overall stay was good, but this man really had a terrible attitude and was also a liar. Maybe someone should tell him that it doesn’t come out of his personal money to upgrade someone.

Wonderful 2-night stay. I wish I could have stayed longer! Beautifully designed property with features of the old building well preserved. Spacious, very clean and super comfortable. Central location, a short walk to the Rathaus.

Location can’t be beat.

Beautiful hotel and location. Nice service and rooms in a gorgeous building. Only negative was the bed. The linens were nice but I found the bed too hard and I like a firm bed. Personnel were helpful and kind.

The hotel was lovely, classy and appropriately decorated. Rooms were spacious, service was excellent. If I had a negative comment it would be that there was no ramp at the hotel entrance, only a series of steps. Not a problem for us, but would be for some.

Amazing experience. Hotel was spacious, very close to train station and 20 minutes to the central station. 10 minutes walk to the supermarket and close proximity to all attractions. The receptionist staff were quite friendly

The poorest customer service

One of the worst experiences for customer service I have seen for some time due to a booking error. Unsympathetic, unable to show a decent degree of compassion and I would recommend not to book this hotel in the future. The breakfast is also of a remarkably low standard and poor range for a hotel of this status.

Fraser Suites is an absolutely amazing hotel to stay. The room was great and the staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Their hospitality and willingness to help guests was outstanding. Everything was within walking distance of the hotel. Breakfast was pretty good there as well. Mr. Say as the concierge really stood out to me. A mild-mannered gentleman with a brilliant smile and just a great personality. Fraser Suites Hamburg is by far one the best hotels I have had the pleasure of staying in Germany thus far. Highly recommend this facility to anyone.
