I stayed here on multiple occasions while visiting Rocky, Connecticut or both business and family. Here is a very professional hotel operator and everything that is updated. It feels very safe and is also convenient to any restaurants and the important Highway interstates

Kind and concerned staff!

If you appreciate a hard-working family owned hotel you will feel comfortable here. The staff are all actively engaged in customer service and genuinely concerned for your well-being. After staying in corporate owned Sheraton‘s recently, I have realized that this is the type of hotel I prefer and I see a stark difference in how I am treated there. The corporate owned hotels have extremely Disinterested and hostile employees most of the time. It really stood out to me how these folks have total ownership attitude about their hotel and they take pride in what they own and operate. What could be a more American than that?

Friendly staff, clean lobby. The room was nicely lit. Toilet wasn’t seated properly so it wobbled, the sink was slow draining and whiskers came up while it was draining (I don’t shave), walls in the shower area were streaky and a little sticky, but the shower and tub themselves were nice and clean. The air conditioner definitely needs cleaning; the air smelled of mildew when I turned it on and my eyes were irritated right after. The mattress was firm and didn’t have sag in the middle or one side as hotels often end up with, but it felt like very little between me and the springs. That being said, the bedding was clean and crisp and didn’t smell of perfume. I really wanted to like this place, but it didn’t seem like the 8.4 rating it had.
