Negatives outweigh positives.

The ac unit did not take the humidity out of the air and everything felt damp in the room. The faucet fixtures were not secure. No iron or ironing board. There were several questionable characters hanging around outside several of the buildings. Check in was a nightmare. Having made a payment for half the amount of our stay, when i got to the hotel they told me I had to pay the entire amount. After FINALLY getting a customer care rep on the phone from hotels,com, I found out there was only a hold for half and the payment was never taken. That mess took 45 minutes to solve. The room was large and the bed was comfortable but with the negatives, I would not stay there again.

This is very small hotel, so it’s quiet, we never heard any other guests. The rooms are larger than most chain hotels and they are updated and comfortable. There is no breakfast, which we knew ahead of time, but there is a good breakfast/lunch place across the street and other options just a short drive away. The staff was very friendly. The location was very convenient to a wedding venue just down the street.

a good pick!

The hotel may not look at all fancy from outside, the rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Receptionist offered a larger room as so we could fit our bikes in if we wanted them inside. Although on a busy road, neither my husband or I could hear traffic from the room. Check in and check out were simple, the receptionist accommodating and I would recommend for a stay for a few days The complimentary bottles of water were appreciated. My only suggestion would be to provide some outdoor seating. There was a picnic table near the office but a couple chairs outside room doors would be nice The location is a bit out of town from Middleton but a close 10 min drive to Main Street!

It appeared that the property had been refurbished recently.The room and bathroom were clean if a little plainly decorated.Bed was comfortable and clean,though not especially luxurious. Overall good value for the price,especially given the area. Probably would come again in the future

Arrived late at night and nobody was at the front desk, which is fine because they left a number to call if they're not there and I don't expect them to stay chained to their desk... but the number rang and rang with no way to leave a message and I realized that was my only way to contact them. I waited about 20 minutes until someone came. The room itself was really large and clean and well appointed, but it was really humid in the room. I don't know if this is how it always is or just because it was humid outside but it made the room smell a bit and the sheets feel weirder. Other than that, it worked well.

Place was very nice and woman at front desk very Pleasant. The room was large, mattress comfy but there was large stains on the comforter and when I made a cup of coffee in room it was horrible. Maybe machine needs to be cleaned. Probably should have said something but I didn’t. Would go back.

Good place for the money. Room had disgusting plug in scent gizmo that stunk up the room even worse that a pavk of cigarettes. Fortunately was able to find, unplug, and air out the room. These things need to be outlawed but NEVER NEVER EVER belong in a hotel room. I informed desk. The owners should know not to put toxic odors in a room.

We did enjoy our stay at the Solano Inn. Our room Was spacious and had a fridge and microwave. When we walked into the room the towels were folded into flowers on the bed which was nice! It was very clean except that after we showered we noticed long black hair, which must have been in the towels. Other than that, everything was great with our stay.
