West Broadway on yksityinen pysäköintialue!

Switchback-talo rakennettiin 1900-luvun alussa ja on hiljattain uusittu. Perheiden mielestä tämä on täydellinen koti muistojen jakamiseen. Kotimme sijaitsee West Broadwayn hiljaisella alueella, mutta silti kävelymatkan päässä historiallisesta alueesta. Talo istuu jopa kuuluisan Switchback Trail -yhteyspisteen kohdalla - täydellinen retkeilyyn ja pyöräilyyn! Jim Thorpe tarjoaa myös Whitewaterin koskenlaskua tai talviaktiviteetteja Blue Mountainissa. Älä epäröi kysyä meille kysymyksiä alueesta!
Tämä loma-asunto sijaitsee vain lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä kohteesta Old Jail Museum. Majoituspaikka tarjoaa asiakkailleen esimerkiksi pyykinpesutilat. Loma-asunnossa tarjoaa asiakkaiden käyttöön esimerkiksi keittiön ja parvekkeen.

House was great for 4 friends taking a weekend trip to Jim Thorpe. It had everything you’ll need for a stay and was clean and accurately advertised. The walk downtown was easy and convenient and the local grocery store was a close drive. The hosts have a wall of brochures for local business and activities and a very thorough and informative notebook for the house and local activities. The host was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to messages. We found some amazing restaurants and fun shops downtown. The train ride was amazing - first class is the way to go even though I expect the open air car is fun as well. Bonus activity was the local escape room. It’s run by a local family and was super fun.

A beautifully decorated, well-equipped, and comfortable location from which to access the many attractions in Jim Thorpe. Off-street parking is a plus. One bathroom might be a challenge for larger groups, but for us (3) was not a problem.

Very nice, spacious home. 6 adults stayed there for a rafting weekend. Very good water pressure and hot water. New carpets had some off-gassing July 2025. Very close to a pleasant walking trail, and only a 20 minute walk into town.

Beautiful property

My friends and I booked this place last minute when our other house canceled on us 2 days before. We stayed here over new years and had a blast. Owner was very accommodating and communicated well. The place was super clean and in a great location within walking distance to the town. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Great spot to enjoy the town!

We spent a cold weekend in Jim Thorpe after Thanksgiving to relax, shop, and bike, and Jill's home was the perfect cozy spot for our family (3 adults, 2 kids). The main shopping and dining area of the town is a few blocks' walk down the hill. Bedrooms were comfortable and private, the kids (age 5 & 7) enjoyed the attic TV room, and the kitchen had all that we needed to cook meals. Private parking was a big plus and we even took the kids on a short hike on the Switchback Trail right outside of the back yard. This would be a great spot in all seasons. We'd love to come back again!

Great house

The entire family enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean, had lots of games and toys to entertain my grandson. To the point he didn't want to leave. The host was very easy to work with and the checking in and out was easy.

Just lovely!

Visiting Jim Thorpe is a great experience all in itself. Staying in this lovely cozy home is just icing on the cake! It’s in a great location and it’s got everything needed to accommodate your needs for your extended stay! This is the third time staying in this home and will always be my first choice when traveling back to the area!

Sibling Trip - Again!

This was not our first trip to Jim Thorpe staying at The Switchback House. We absolutely love everything about it. From its cleanliness, to the charming decor highlighting Jim Thorpe/Mauch Chunk's past, to the location - we can walk to everything we need. The private off-street parking is the icing on the cake! We're bound to return ... Again!
