Our room was nice and it was clean, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. Negatives: the ice machine on our floor was out of order so we made the trek to another floor. Although the property was splendid, we thought a complimentary robe would be appropriate when the name includes “resort & spa.”
We only stayed one night and our interaction with staff was limited. We were not treated poorly, but we also were not greeted with smiles and enthusiasm. Our primary contact was checking into the resort and dining. On checking in, we arrived early however our room was ready, which was a bonus. No one asked us if we had stayed there before, which we had not. This would have made our trip more pleasurable with less wandering around. The process for being seated for dinner was quite lengthy. We were on time for our reservation, but the hostess worked alone and had to walk all the way into the restaurant to see if our table was available. She did the same thing for the couple in line before us, then walked back and escorted them to their table. By the time she did this with us, there was a line extending into the lobby.
Again, nothing terribly wrong, but nothing special either. For the price, we had hoped for more.
