Wonderful place to stay in Highlands. Clean, quiet, easy walk to town. Atmosphere is nice. Rooms are perfect. Also meets our budgetary needs in a town where accommodations are ultimately unaffordable. We greatly appreciate Trailborn Inn.

It was close enough to town to walk if you wanted to do it…we chose to drive to town. Only suggestion…have extra cups or glasses for water…we had to empty our coffee cups to drink water. Prefer to have real coffee not instant. There was no creamer.

Mid Century Gem

Enjoyed our stay at the newly renovated Trailborn. Super mid century. They did a great job. Enjoyed the Nordic Spa…although I wished it was a bit more private. Once the trees grow around it, it will help. Recommend a bathing suit if you plan to use it. Fire in the fire pit at night was nice. Staff were helpful & friendly. Small onsite market and filtered water fountain available for guests. Coffe, tea & banana bread available in the mornings. There are bikes for guest use but we did not try them this trip. Only complaint was that the bed wasn’t comfortable. For only being 8 months in, the mattress already had sunken spots.
