• The AC temperature controller was not working when we arrived. The unit was working, but it had a sign saying to use the wall mounted controller only. So we couldn’t adjust the temperature to something comfortable. When the technician came, he said to ignore the sign and use the controller in the unit itself, and that he had asked the manager to let the guests know, but the manager refused. Our room was not the only one with this particular problem
• The pool was closed for repairs
• The first morning of our stay there was no hot water for showers or anything else
• The washing machine in the guest laundry wasn’t working and the hotel personnel wasn’t even aware. My clothes were trapped in there for an hour or more.
We are thinking about asking our credit card to refuse payment. The pool and laundry were esential for our long trip. The lack of hot ware and adecuate temperature control was most anoying.
