The staff and the parking are the highlights. The room layout was great for my family of 5 adults with the two bedrooms; and the full kitchen was great. It was good to have all the seating area to visit as well. The location is still very close to the beach and lots of nice restaurants around.

We stayed 7 nights at Ilima Hotel with kids. The hotel itself is clean and decent, and the kitchenette was useful. However, our room faced the White Sands Hotel night club, and loud music played every night from ~8:30 PM until 2:00 AM. We were on the 5th floor, and the noise was clearly audible due to non-soundproof windows. Kids couldn’t sleep, and there were frequent loud screams outside. We could only sleep once the music stopped. Another issue was weed smoke entering the room through the AC, which felt unsafe for children. Hotel staff acknowledged the issue but only offered a paid room upgrade. No proactive resolution. This appears to be a known issue based on other reviews. Resort fee was $47/night, but on Christmas Day there were no beach towels available. Pros: clean room, kitchenette, laundry available Cons: severe nighttime noise, air quality issues, poor resolution Not recommended for families or longer stays if the room faces White Sands Hotel.

Room was large for the price, not like the modern rooms where they squeeze every inch of square footage to maximize profits. However, the area around the hotel is noisy at night. The old style louver glass windows do little to dampen the noise from the surrounding bars downstairs.

Excellent room (16th floor Intetnational Market facing) with balcony. Spacious, good air conditioning, full size fridge freezer was convenient, comfortabe beds. An older hotel so a little dated now but very clean and very comfortable with great staff. Thank you.

I like this hotel because the staff is very welcoming, The rooms are kept clean and each has a full size refridgerator which comes in handy as well as a cook top and microwave and pots, dishes, cutlery, etc to use. The parking, while limited in number, is free which is a big plus. Not on the beach means that it is a little quieter which is also a plus.

주차무료인게 큰 장점입니다 세탁 시설도 있는데 세탁, 건조 각 $4 씩이구요 다만 바로 옆에 숙박시설이 밤에 너무시끄러워서 불편했네요 주방도 있고 위치도 나쁘지않다고 생각은 들었지만 잠을 편히 자야하는데 그게 어려운게 아쉽네요

The hotel is old , maintained , clean, well managed , staff are nice , helpful , free but limited parking ( get back before 7pm if on road trip ) . Did not like the surprise amenity fee at the front desk when checking in , would have prefer to know up front when booking with expedia.

The hotel was very nice. Bed was comfortable and enough closet space to fit alll your clothing. They do have a laundry facility for $5 a load and $5 to dry. Detergent is $1 at the front desk. The refrigerator is large enough to hold enough food for your stay. We were able to make breakfast since the hotel does prove pans. Loved that Kona coffee was just down the street along with target. Will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is dated but location was great. It was waljable to restaurants and shops.The studio type room we had was big and was equipped with amenities like a full size refrigerator. It also had microwave and a stove with all kitchen and dining gadgets and tablewares. Staff were very nice and accomodating. Requested a late checkout and was approved without any additional fees

We arrived exhausted from a long flight to Hawaii. The staff was wonderful and we were thrilled that our room had been upgraded. This is a very busy area with alot of shopping and restaurants, so we were grateful that this facility has its own parking under the hotel, therefore we did not have to park a distance and walk to our room. A huge bonus was the balcony which overlooks a canal. The next morning, we sat with our coffee and watched the joggers below, and a rowing race on the canal.

We enjoyed our stay. The unit was great for our family of 6. Lots of space just found the furniture in the hotel and in the rooms to be a little outdated. The hotel is conveniently located to the beach, shopping and plenty of restaurants. For what we needed for our family of 6 prior to our cruise. This was perfect for the price.
