The hotel was lovely, our room was amazing and we had a lovely view from the balcony. The beach and pool towels we so handy, we loved the gym and the pool. There was a bus stop right outside and the beach and shops were so close. The entertainment and cheese and wine night were absolutely brilliant and I loved having free coffee every morning. I stayed here as a mum with my 2 boys and felt completely safe and comfortable. The only negative was the lifts took forever and were very crowded but I think there my have been an issue with a couple of them so I'm sure it's been sorted by now. The best thing about this hotel were the staff on the front desk. They were always so friendly and helpful. The lady that checked us in, I think her name was Biki, she was absolutely amazing. We had just landed from Japan and had a 16 hour time difference and were exhausted. I didn't expect to be allowed to check in early but she arranged it so we could and she also helped out by moving things around so that we could stay in the same room for 6 nights as I'd made 2 bookings over the 6 nights in different rooms. The beautiful room that she arranged for us, letting us check in early and not having to move rooms really made our stay here amazing and we are so grateful to her. She is a credit to the hotel and I can't thank her enough.

I loved it here. Beware, it's valet parking only. Like $40 something a night. I didn't mind though, it made parking a breeze. Luana was close to lots of shops and restaurants. Loved the staff. Very welcoming and always ready to serve. The elevators take long.

Hotel Luana was right in the middle of Waikiki. Yes, there is lots of traffic, but it didn't interrupt our stay. We initially took Uber the first two days, but realized we could just walk to our destinations. The rooms are outdated, but it was doable since we only slept in them and cooked breakfast. The staff were very friendly! Our plane didn't depart until 11 pm, but the staff kept our luggage locked up while we went out and about, and allowed us to use the pool shower after we went to the beach. The beach is about a 15 min walk through a gorgeous park. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

The hotel is overall fine, but I didn’t like the rude attitude of the receptionists, and the mattresses on the beds are quite uncomfortable.

The ambience of the lobby was nice, smelled really nice Flowers look great. What I didn't like was I didn't get to use my VIP status and I'm checking in I received horrible attitude at the counter. Rooms had some maintenance issues and couch was filthy also when room was cleaned they did not do a good job had to ask for shampoos constantly and coffee they did not feel these when they cleaned. Very nice view though from the 11th floor

This hotel is located in walking distance to Waikiki beach. However, The mattresses were collapsed. We lived there 4 nights, one of our rooms’s ceiling light was falling down, AC was broken.
