I forgot my purse in the safe in my room 514. I called a few hours after to advise that I had forgotten it and the front desk advised me that they would notify the manager of housekeeping to check. When my purse was picked up $100 was missing from it. There was $1500 in my purse and only $1400 in it. The housekeeping manager said she had opened the safe while security stood at the door and she brought the purse downstairs to front desk. When the purse was picked up Ryan at front desk took forever to get it from the back room and then when advised that $100 was missing he said that the hotel had no policy to lodge a complaint and that a police report had to be filed. I have filed a report but am extremely disgusted by the lack of customer service exhibited by Ryan and his very suspicious behavior when returning my purse. It is not so much about the $100 but the principle. I fully trust housekeeping did nothing wrong. It was when my purse was given to the front desk that the discrepancy occurred. I will advise all family and friends to avoid this hotel at all costs as they seem to have dishonest unhelpful employees.
