This property is very old, ac in our room was not working as expected. Doors including patio slider are pretty old and jammed. Very small bathroom. Staff is not very customer friendly and some are rude. We initially got our room on 21st floor. There is a coconut club on this floor which serves breakfast from 6:30am, but people starts line from 6am and they are talking loudly outside of room even after requesting them to be quite and disturb your sleep. We requested hotel to move us to another room. But they were not very accomodating and asked us to vacate our room at 11am and gave a new room at 3:30pm. They didn't care to prioritize room cleaning for existing guests. They also charged us environmental fees without our consent. Overall our experience with this hotel is bad.

This had been the third time I'd stayed at this property dating back to the first and second time being when it was Aston Waikīkī. It will also be my last. Our room was terrible, in between the screeching from the ac and the whistling through the sliding glass doors our room was LOUD. Room service failed to do everything except bring us new towels. They didn't take our trash, refill toiletries, or make our bed (the second time). My husband and I are pretty easy going people and the first couple nights these things seemed like a minor inconvenience but by the 3rd and 4th day we were getting irritable. Not to mention the elevators were absolutely ridiculous. The only thing worth raving about is the restaurant. The food and service was fantastic. There are many other reasons why we will not be returning but these are the main ones.
