INCREDIBLE. Loved it. Stayed at several other hotels in Waikiki at a similar price point over the years and White Sands was far and above in experience!! Obviously it’s no five star resort but it was clean, staff was awesome and friendly and helpful, food and drinks onsite were DELICIOUS. Pool and hot tub were both comfy. Free slushees in the afternoon were such a fun treat. And great location for walking to just about anything else off site you could need. We will 1000% absolutely stay here again!!!

The vibe of the renovation and idea they were going for is cute but the area is unsafe, 2 days in a row we saw literal fist fights right next door at the rundown bar. Our room was on the same side as the speak easy so music blaring and screaming until 2am.

The hotel was very dirty and unpleasant. Nobody came to clean the room, there were lots of flying insects, and there was no elevator. The only good thing was the location. Highly recommend not choose it
