Nice views; thin walls.

The location was great, the hotel was cute, views were stunning. However, when we arrived, the room smelled like marijuana and the air conditioning was not working. They did send someone over to fix the AC, but unfortunately it stopped working again in the middle of the night. Also, the walls were paper thin and I was woken up at midnight by our neighbors “activities”.

The explanation for check was doable, however the text I received gave the code & then said push the arrow. When the person checking in is 80+ and it is starting to get dark it does not make it easy especially after a 6 hr drive. All they needed to do is state to look for the arrow on the lower left hand corner of the pad. Also, my brother & I both fell & with no one on site there was no one to get help.

Good but super thin floors...

The accomodations were nice, and comfortable, bed was comfy also, however, the balsa thin floors above us proved to be quite loud with the people walking above us all night until about 1-3am depending which night. The second night I used my noise cancelling headphones to alleviate the boom boom boom heel walking of the people above us. If you stay here I recommend getting the second floor with no one above you. We won't be staying here again unless we get on the 2nd floor.

The unit is comfortable and the balcony with view of the lake is nice. We had a unit on the first floor so the noise level of the unit above us was extreme. We could hear every step they took. The furniture is dated but clean except for one plastic bowl that must have been missed by house keepers (it was yucky).

Nice stay. Pleasant lake view from the balcony. We visited to mine for crystals, the room was comfortable and very reasonably priced. Only complaint is the ice maker wasn’t working, but a repair tech was there working on it. I’d stay there again.

We loved the view of the lake and how quiet it was. This is definitely the best place we’ve ever stayed in this area. We were very pleased with the location and environment. I would like to say the shampoo made our hair dry. Other than that, everything was amazing!

The Hamilton seems to be a remodeled motel with some nice, updated fixtures. The property is lakefront and sits on a slight slope so the parking is minimal but sufficient. The room was ground level we stayed in with a back deck overlooking the lake. Everything was clean and what we needed for a two person, one night stay. The noise from upstairs guests walking around was an annoyance but nothing worth getting upset over. If you need somewhere to take your significant other for a quick getaway, this is a great spot.
