It is an old motel...but the staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help. It's an inexpensive place to get some sleep and a hot shower in the heart of Muskoka. Don't expect resort amenities, but not resort prices. We stayed out late at On the Docks Pub and walked back to the motel. Exactly what we were looking for, a place to sleep and McDonald's coffee the next morning.

My deluxe king room had a bed. I lawn chair and a tiny square table. Conwebs everywhere. The long term people having a domestic was also a highlight

Unfortunately, our room was not up to a bare minimum standard. Although they came to rectify the issue within 10 minutes, it was very disappointing. We lived with the other dirty components. Probably the worst that I’ve actually stayed in. I have only left one other hotel before, but if we were staying a second night, we would not have stayed in this one.

Room/Suite was very spacious. Kitchen area, hot water electric kettle had water in it with slime and deposits floating around. Crumbs under items on the counter. Things were cleaned around and not moved. Unit felt dirty. Couch arm was all worn away like an animal was scratching at it for years. Large rolms with little in them so everything echoed..lol. Priced high for what it was, but felt lucky to actually find lodging. Paint missing off doors from abuse from guests im guessing. Very little outside noise. Good location. Bathroom shower was new and nice. Nicest spot in the entire suite. Front desk gentlemen was pleasant and helpful.

Will not stay here again

The room was a good size though we only had one chair and it was a deck chair. I never spoke to anybody as we were late checking in so the key was in the mailbox and when to check out noone was in the office so just drop the key back in the mailbox. The outside of the building could really use a good clean up and paint job.The towels were small and rough. For the price it was ridiclouse for what was offered and the appreatance of the building,

Arrived at the motel and I was greeted by a lovely gentleman who checked me in to my room. He was very sweet and helpful, made checknin very easy. When i got to the room i was suprised at just how large it was! There werw two good sized bedrooms a large living/dining area as well as a decent sized kitchen. The only complaint i have is the cleanliness of the rooms. They were grimy. Clearly hadnt been swept or dusted in quite some time. Found an old stale tokmy wrapper with a half eaten bagel in the cupboard. Would I stay again, yes! The price is right but next time I will let them know sooner if the room isnt clean
