We enjoyed the privacy We had issues of our room card deactivating, it was alittle annoying at first because we had to go back down to the front desk every time. The staff was very kind and helpful he also mentioned that when the card is near phones or magnets it deactivats it. Since that tip we didn't have any issues after that.

The hotel and room is really nice. The staff were very helpful. The website says they have an airport shuttle- this is why i chose this hotel- when i checked in and asked about it i was told it was only available during certain times. This wasn't on the website.the ladies at front desk were able to get the shuttle to get me even though its out of the scheduled time. I really appreciate that but i was frustrated that it wasn't on the website. Also the staff appreciate tips and i feel bad because i don't have cash on me

The Shilo Inn is in a nice location alongside the river and there is a great paved path behind the property with an easy walk to eateries and wonderful views. I was disappointed to have booked a room online promising river views only to be assigned a room that was eye level with the parking lot, which we couldn't see because the window had moisture trapped between the panes. The lobby smelled very dank but the room smelled clean and my allergies didn't act up. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet. We had a tasty breakfast at the attached restaurant using the vouchers we received. The pool area looked nice, although we didn't use it. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Overall, this is an older but well maintained place at the quieter end of a row of hotels along the river. Addressing the smell in the lobby would do wonders for the first impression as would delivering on the promised view. It wasn't a bad experience but I would probably pass on it next time.

Really something omce upon a time

I bet this property was really something in its time. It is a bit run down. The staff was wonderful. The breakfast was simple, but nice to have a hot breakfast included. Overall, id stay somewhere else next time, but it was perfect for our family visit.

Rey run down and outdated. Broken tile in food area, tub in bathroom was scratched and chipped. Windows in lager areas and swinging doors with smudges and hand prints. The wood in the eating area could be updated. The paint job was very old.

The parking and location are great but besides that it’s not good… wall paper falling off, terrible breakfast- even made a mom with 4 kids go back to her room to get her 1 ticket for any of them to eat (kids are free). Pool needed cleaned badly. Pool area was not cleaned over night. Steam room faucet was gross. Looks like no maintenance has been done except absolutely necessary items-if that. Just won’t stay here again.
