Cosy bunkhouse

Pros: Staff, breakfast and cosiness
Cons: Shower needs updating
Location: Nice restaurants and shops
My daughter and I stayed four nights in one of the cosy bunkhouses. Idyllwild is like a scene from 'Twilight' and the bunkhouse didn't disappoint with tartan bedspreads and warm electric fires. Breakfast was delivered in a cute little basket every morning.It snowed while we were there adding to the atmosphere. Michelle welcomed us and was very helpful and friendly.....however Strawberry Creek was going under new management the day we left and she was not sure what was going to happen. Hopefully it will remain as the potential is huge. If you stay you will definitely need a car as the distances are vast. Idyllwild itself is small and has many places to eat and quaint shops.
