Greatest beach house ever!

Wonderful experience for Thanksgiving. Everything you could possibly need to cook, serve, and enjoy a holiday or any day meal. Then relax on the deck in the sun facing the crashing surf. Finish with cool outside breezes or cozy coverlets on great beds. Thanks to Nancy & the mermaids.

Beautiful stay and great walkability

This was a wonderful stay for our family vacation visit, the condo is located right on the beach with the cutest decor of mermaids and seahorses everywhere. I loved the patio it is rather sizable and basically right on the beach with a good divide between you and the sand which is important for me since I have a little boy. The shed on the patio is filled with lots of sand toys which my son loved so much and took a huge relief off me knowing he had plenty to play with. The patio furniture is high quality and great for lounging on to watch the surf in the morning, my mom and I hung out there while my son played so I'd say it's a very good space. The condo is clean stocked with infinite towels and lots of pillows to build forts with. This property sits right on the sand and it is nice being so close and taking a walk with my little one. Imperial Beach has evolved over the years it's definitely got a family friendly vibe these days. The ocean water has always had issues dating decades back so this is not news to me. For a good swim I highly recommend Crown Cove at Silver Strand State Park (I hold an annual park pass - expensive but worth it!) it is on the bay side of the park and a ten minute walk from the main Silver Strand parking lot but it's a waveless cove great for kids or folks looking to get a swim in. My son is terrified of waves so going to Crown Cove was perfect and only 10 minutes away. Also, the walkability of everything is a gem of this sleepy beach town.

Beach view and marvelous Condo stay

WOW WOW WOW what an amazing experience. My wife, family and friends enjoy everything about the theme and newly remodeled kitchen and bathrooms. We bbq and took tons of pix, and walked on the beach had many meals and drinks with our family and friends and I didn’t want to leave. You know how when someone tells about a great movie or restaurant and that you have to go so they set the bar / expectations so high and you go for your self but you don’t get the same experience and you question why or what made tell you about it or what was the big deal. We’ll let me tell you that I’m setting the bar high in this Vrbo Rental because it’s going to blow your expectations away. Also I’m very blessed to travel often Thank God and I’m a business - service owner myself and Nancy was an absolute sweetheart, she’s very easy to work with and she knows how to run her business. You know when you do a good job when your own neighbors even speak highly of you. Can’t wait to rent for her again. Almost perfect

The kids loved the condo and hearing the ocean come in. It was quiet at night and contained books to read, games to play and pots/pans to cook with. The condo was clean and just as described and Nancy is a great communicator and made the whole process streamlined. The only problem we had was out of Nancy's control....the water pollution didn't allow us to play in the water. We had to go north to find a beach that was safe to swim from.

Great place to stay, great host!!

We had an amazing stay. The property and the host were amazing. We loved our stay right on the beach!! Enjoyed the sunset views every evening. The only disappointment was the sea water is not clean in the area. There’s notices everywhere about the water being toxic and polluted. Cleaner beaches are at least 15-20 minutes away. Nonetheless the property is everything we wished for and Nancy makes it very easy to checkin and checkout.

Great Property, poor water quality

The property was amazing, very clean and host was kind and helpful. Only negative was the location and ocean water. Could not go into water due to pollutants, had to travel 30 plus minutes to find clean water and beach.

That view!!!

Our family of five loved this property. We mostly chose it just for the view. However, there is everything you could ever think of needing in this property and the owner is so sweet and her communication is on point. My kids enjoyed the pool as well. We would highly recommend booking this for your stay in San Diego.

Wonderful place to stay!

Our family of four and friends with a one-year old had a fantastic time! Nancy was very responsive and a great host! The place was just as described, clean, comfortable beds, and more than what you would expect for amenities. Plenty of options for food and drinks nearby. The best part was the patio right on the beach with plenty of seating options!

Outstanding Spot on Imperial Beach

For a short family vacation with family spanning three generations, this was the perfect place. It was exactly as advertised, and at a location that is both lovely and convenient. The neighborhood was very pleasant, with a good variety of food spots within a short walking distance (the tacos at Mike Hess Brewing, two blocks away, were killer). The owner, Nancy, obviously takes a lot of pride in this place, and it has everything a visitor could need. We would definitely stay there again!

Serenity by the Sea

Serenity by the Sea was better than we anticipated! The condo is decorated in a way that we knew we were going to have a special get away. Nancy's attention to detail is amazing and the beds were so comfy. I look forward to coming back with my husband and kids for a relaxing getaway. And the neighborhood is adorable with all sorts of great places within walking distance.

Amazing location

Magnificent!

This Condo has the best view of the Ocean, & Pier. The Sunsets are Spectacular!! This is by far the Best Stocked place ever!! The beds are comfy, it’s so clean, & everything WORKS !! But, the Best part is you have 2 parking spots in a safe gated area. To me Peace of Mind is the Best while on Vacation. This place has it ALL.

Wow what an awesome picture perfect view! We had a great thanksgiving together and would highly recommend this vrbo to anyone looking to spend some time at the beach. The vrbo was stocked with everything you need and have at home. We always cook and it was wonderful to have cookware and basic seasonings

Location, location, location!

Our stay at serenity at the sea is exactly what we were looking for! The location is perfect, right in the heart of imperial beach, directly on the beach but raised so there is never a worry about a curious pedestrian getting too close. Every restaurant we wanted to visit was within walking distance and each one was phenomenal! Nancy is available should you need anything at all. She over communicates a bit at the beginning, but don't worry, she doesn't intrude or bother during your stay. You can see that Nancy has been updating the unit over the years and the updates are great. My only criticism is there isn't a good place to lounge inside the unit if exhausted, but why would you want to lounge inside when you are surrounded by so much beauty? Especially when the porch right on the beach is so comfortable!

Nancy was great and her property is beautiful.

Beautiful property in an amazing location, this was a wonderful experience! There is something for everyone. My boys enjoyed the boogie boards and football on the beach with dad. My parents loved relaxing on the patio with great views. I loved watching the diving pelicans and occasional jumping dolphins! We all also had a great time exploring San Diego which is just a short 15 minute drive.

Perfect Getaway!!!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Serenity By The Sea!!! The location was wonderful being right on the beach and walking distance to many restaurants. Sitting in the sun on the balcony watching dolphins was very relaxing!! We would definitely stay again!!!

Mystical stay at a Magical Place

From the moment we walked in we were impressed! Myself, husband and 6 year old nephew HAD SUCH A WONDERFUL WEEKEND. I wasn't sure about the area as I have never been but ended up loving the vibe!! We were able to walk to all kinds of fun little restaurants and hang at the beach so easily. Watching the Dolphins play in the ocean every morning was my favorite part :) I will be back with our best friends to do a grown up relaxing weekend next time. Thank you so much Nancy for your wonderful place and amazing communication.

Perfect Vacation at the beach

We had a wonderful time in this unit over the last week. It was very clean and the proximity to the beach was ideal. Nancy, the owner, could not have been more helpful. She had everything we would have needed. In fact, next time, we will not have to pack as much as she has it covered. I highly recommend this rental for a nice relaxing week at the beach.
