The elevator doors would not work and trapped me in the elevator. Twice. When I finally got out, I pointed out to the desk clerk that the elevator wasn't working and the doors wouldn't open and he replied oh, just take the other one. Do not ever stay here.

Check in was great and room was clean with comfortable beds. Coffee was not great and our room only had decaf. Some paint was peeling off the walls and hallway carpet has seen better days. Location was oddly inconvenient although it was next to the airport. Airplanes start taking off around 6:30 am and if you’re a sensitive sleeper that might be a problem for you. The front desk staff was absolutely fantastic and what made this stay second to none. I can’t thank them enough for all of the help enough!

I was exhausted, so I didn't want to hassle with trying to change rooms, especially since the hotel was busy. First thing that was off, was that the room smelled like a locker room/socks. Then, once I had settled in, I realized the faucet leaked onto the counter a little, and that the window was missing the sliding shade, which it had tracks for, and the curtains weren't quite big enough or in the right place to make up for the missing shade so light got into the room. In the morning when I had a shower, the room was an accessible one, and I discovered the hose for the sprayer was missing, and the fixture seemed to not work properly to direct the water to the showerhead fully, so half the water sprayed down the corner of the shower. Then, when i tried to find the receptionist in the morning to tell her, i could find her for at least 10 minutes, and the maids didnt know where she was, and when the cook noticed i was looking for them, they told me to wait and signaled to her that there was someone waiting. So I waited another 5 or 6 minutes. At which point I was getting frustrated because i had somewhere to be, and i actually saw her talking to him again, and she told me to wait some more. I got upset and told her i couldnt wait any more and needed to talk to her, and she kept teying to excuse herself to wait on people in the dining area. This was not acceptable. She said she would tell management about my issues...don't think she did

Property was great and staff was very friendly. Restaurant was nice to have on site. But what was disappointing was when we went to get the shuttle at 5:15 in the morning, there was no shuttle and we had to call a taxi. I know these things happen but when you're traveling and you made a special point of setting up a hotel with 24-hour to the airport this was not appreciated. And then it was up to us to call the taxi and pay the taxi. Of course we we're given an email to send a receipt to but the hotel only covered $22 and the taxi was $25. So not sure we would stay there again on our next trip out of Indianapolis.
