Parking was adequate. We were greeted quickly by staff, she was very polite. The check in process only took maybe 6 minutes. The hotel appearance is clean. We were only stopping in for a quick rest, exhausted, and it met our needs. The Hotels.com images are "realtor specials", but the hotel lobby was nice enough.

This was a one night stop along a road trip. We were pleasantly surprised at how clean and nice it was. The pool is outdoors so as you would expect for October, it was closed. I did not find an elevator. I didn't ask, so maybe it exists, but I was fine with carrying my stuff to the 2nd floor. The bed was firm but comfortable, and so were the pillows. Breakfast was the typical Choice Hotels fare and it was hot. The room was very quiet. I could barely hear the traffic on the nearby interstate. On the downside, the free internet was virtually unusable. It took multiple attempts to connect, then glitched off completely very often, and was slow even when it was on. The in-room coffee was literally undrinkable - and I'm not a coffee snob. The coffee served with breakfast was much better, but still not great. The bathroom did not have any exhaust fan, and finally, another thing I found odd - though it didn't affect my stay - was an exposed electrical wire running above the mirror in the bathroom.

It’s a place to sleep! The room was mostly very clean, but the shower head was brown around the nozzles and the shower itself was set about 2 inches into the floor, making it easy to slip if you are not paying attention. Breakfast was fine: waffle iron, scrambled eggs, sausage links, cereal, pretty standard fare. The internet was basically unusable, but thankfully I had a good 5G connection on my phone. Overall a worthwhile stay for the money if you need to stay in West Indy.

On the plus side: Very clean! Close proximity to places. Reasonable rates. On the downside: lighting in the room and bathroom needs to be improved, it is dark. No elevator is a big inconvenience. But would not hesitate to stay here again.

When I walked through double doors, there was a man sitting behind the window. He was watching something on computer or his phone.I waited and he didn't come out. I said sir I am ready to check in. He took a bit and finally came to check us in. When we got to our room we had trouble getting the door to open.. We finally got it. I didn't go out to see if a maintenance person was available. We figured not since it was after 9:00. The next morning I was going to tell them about the door but no one was at front desk. We left the keys in an open basket there because we had to leave. We hope no took the keys. When leaving we heard a voice from backroom say have a good day. Our room was awesome. It had whirlpool tub and nice kitchenet.

We stayed at this same hotel last year and at the front desk was a sign stating that the pool was closed. Again this year when we checked in there was also the same sign stating that the pool was closed. Is there any reason why the pool has not been open since at least last year?
