Perfect clean and cozy home base

Come relax next to the fire place after a day on the trails, hiking or fishing.
-fully stocked kitchen
-5 miles to Lake Superior
-10 miles to lake in the clouds. (THIS HOUSE IS NOT LOCATED IN THE WOODS)
-snowmobile or atv right from the front door with access to hundreds of miles or trails.
we have lots of board games for entertainment along with dvds, there is a charcoal grill to use and a fire pit to relax by. There is split wood for use in the fire place and fire pit.
the house has wifi and a roku for you to log in to. We unfortunately do NOT have cable Tv to offer. We keep a good stock of coffee creamer, tea along with other condiments. we supply soap along with shampoo conditioner and body wash for you to use on your stay along with plenty of hand sanitizer.
The town of White Pine is a nice little town of about 400 people. White Pine is up and coming, It is an old copper mining town. We do have a camera outside only covering the driveway that is used only for snow depth and other maintenance purposes. You will have access to the entire house but not the garage. We just ask to please love this home like it is your very own. Housekeeping asks for all dishes to be washed and put back in the cabinet they came from.

This house had everything we needed for our joint-family trip. We had 3 adults and 4 kids and were very comfortable throughout. Beds were comfortable with nice pillows and high quality linens. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The washer & dryer came in handy for getting our snow gear washed between ski days. The heated floors were a nice touch and felt great in the mornings. The TV was easy to use — they have Roku Guest Mode set up, which allowed us to log into apps knowing accounts would get deleted afterwards. Kids were happy look through the range of toys and board games and not get bored. Host was responsive and helpful, but we didn’t need anything that wasn’t already at the house. All in all we had a great stay and we’ll be back next year.

Host is excellent to work with. Very responsive to questions. House was clean and the heated floor kept it nice and toasty after snowmobiling. Close to food, gas, trails and convenience store. Centrally located to Bond Falls, Lake of the Clouds and Lake Gogebic. Lots of off street parking for trailers. Thanks for the great stay!

House was clean and comfortable. Bedrooms were a bit cold, I didn't see any heat in them. Other rooms appeared to use radiant heat. Big disappointment was even though advertised with wood for a fire, none was on site. At the end of the day we were too tired to go look for some. Toilet clogs easily, be prepared to use the supplied plunger. Overall Ok.

There was a hicup with verizon cell phone provider doesn't work in this area. So, i didn't get the information to access. Went to the White Pine mall and got wifi to get that info. Great location for Porcupine Mtns and the many waterfalls we visited. House was great.

The house was very clean. Had everything we needed from fresh towels to the variety of games. I would recommend it to a friend.You might want to tighten up the front door lock and frame. Nice house near Porcupine Mtns

The house was clean, bed comfy, shower was great, kitchen well equipped, and washer/dryer were high quality.As the home does not have A/C or ceiling fans, you need to open and close windows. Some of the windows could only be closed from outside because the mechanisms were broken. Also, I was concerned with the dilapidated neighboring property which has junk stored in the yard, a tarp covering the roof, and broken blinds. Seeing this from the bedroom window made me feel unsafe.

Excellent stay near Lake Superior . The listing was very clean with a well supplied kitchen – lots of utensils and necessary dishes, pots, and pans. The property was very clean, but was definitely in process of being updated. We really enjoyed the proximity to the lake, the affordability, the comfortable king size bed, and the pet friendly , safe neighborhood. Thanks for a great stay!!!

Cozy House Near the Porkies

We had a wonderful stay! The house was cozy & comfortable. The up north bear decor added to the homeiness. The king bed was super comfortable, as was the living room. It's in a great location. There are restaurants nearby & the Porkies is only a 15 minute drive from the house. We plan to stay here again!
