They had one poor lady working at check in so it made it a bit of a wait. She worked as hard and fast as she could but still gave great customer service to all guests..thanks Pansy!!! She deserves a raise!! Beds were great, quiet room, great breakfast!!

The hotel itself is nice, and seems newer. We did not notice the issues until later that evening. 1.) The hotels wash cloths had pubes imbedded in the rags. This could have been a previous customers facial hair, but it was definitely short coarse hair, like it was shaved off. 2.) When getting into bed, I felt something poke me under the comforter. I roll it back to find a finger nail in the bed. It was a fake nail, like one of the glue ons. 3.) We noticed a stain above our heads that night that looked similar to a poop stain. We don't know for sure what it was but after the other to instances, we wouldn't be shocked if it was a poop stain. We regret we did not take pictures, but we spent most of our time away from the hotel and were only there to sleep.

I help individuals who are struggling in my area. By doing this from time to time I pay for a hotel room so they have a place to stay the night when it is extremely cold outside, or they are just needing an evening to decompress and realign their mental health at the moment. There is a 50 mile radius exception on their site, but are not willing to budge or even acknowledge an individual trying to talk to them about the situation. I’m appalled at the fact that I can not even get a decent room for an individual go is struggling through the night in below freezing temperatures. I was refused the stay and since I also could not recoup the funds I paid. I ended up having to pay for three different hotels that evening just so one person could be comfortable for the night. La Quinta is a joke, I have no where near the influence or identity as a major hotel chain, but I am 1 million times more capable of helping our veterans and local individuals. In hindsight, they should close this place and allow a more reputable hotel take over. Maybe our LOCAL individuals could benefit more.
