For the first 3 nights, we were forced to endure staying in a lower floor room. The room was not very well-maintained (e.g., broken thermostat) and was very noisy. It also offered very little privacy considering its proximity to the pool area. They finally moved us to an upper floor room, which was significantly better in all aspects. We absolutely loved the beach and the area, and the staff were very friendly. However, the dining options at the hotel were beyond terrible in both quality and price. Beach facilities were also very expensive: $75/day for a beach umbrella was a shock for us - we go to at least 2 seaside vacations every year, and this was the first time we had to pay for umbrellas in the same resort we were staying at. Also, the two pools were very small, crowded, and visibly dirty. Overall, we managed to enjoy our stay by minimizing our interaction with the resort and its amenities.

The bungalow was great to stay in and an amazing value for the area. I loved having easy access to the beautiful grounds. The buffet breakfast was excellent with good service. Everyone was so nice! The cons: a little dated rooms and pools. An infinity pool would be a nice addition. We hope to be back at RLR!!!

The valet staff is what makes this hotel. They are so friendly and we truly miss the older gentlemen. Rooms are nice. I recommend a room with a view.

There were cockroaches in our room on 3 different days throughout our stay. You guys say that you provide cleaning services “every other day” but throughout our 5 day stay, we only got our room cleaned 1 time. Our requests went unanswered. AC unit wasn’t working. Day 2 of our stay, our card got charged an additional $500 after they put $375 on hold Not happy with our stay. Wouldn’t recommend or stay here again.

Valet parking , responsiveness and how close it is to everything. Rooms are super clean . The Valet parking crew and the house keeping staff are super nice . The staff in the activities lobby , the coffee shop ( royal scoop) around the corner and the retiring staff were disinterested - they were courteous and respectful but not engaging or showed any interest . The Royal scoop coffee needs an upgrade .

There is only one restaurant in the resort with very limited choices. The activity equipment does run out, and the pool is a bit small. Overall, there are just not enough activities in the resort.
