The room was clean, but the first full day there, we had no hot water for 7 hours, so couldn’t “clean-up” after being at the beach. Nothing was offered to offset the huge inconvenience. The hotel said they needed an actual “credit card” to hold for amenities- the website said debit cards were sufficient. So I provided a credit card, then they placed a “hold” on the card at Twice the amount we were originally told.

The hotel smells amazing! The location is beautiful and right on the beach. The staff is always so kind! Gretchen and Jacob were especially knowledgeable and helpful.

Great classic hotel!

First time staying at this hotel, and so glad we did! The hotel is an old classic, but clean and welcoming. The employees are so helpful and friendly- helped us with directions and suggestions for our stay.. Breakfast buffets daily with sunrise views and poolside bars were so fun! Private beach access was nice, and the food at the restaurant was so good. The trolly takes you to other hotels and Whaler’s Village. Nice running paths too! Good experience!

The view at the balcony was beautiful. Room is clean. The only downside, they don’t clean it everyday maybe unless you request. We have to request for towels and K-Pods for tea and coffee every night to replenish. They don’t have microwave so you cant take your leftovers from restaurants. We tend to order a lot to try different local foods. Their specialty burger and truffle fries are so delicious. Cocktails are hit or missed. 2 cocktails that we ordered tasted like mocktails. The shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and lotion are great quality. How I wish they just include the sunscreen and after sun lotion in the room for hassle free since it’s included in their resort fee. The cabana is an excellent beach/pool amenity. The receptionists, hotel porter and valet are the best!!! Overall, we had a great time!!!

Staff was friendly and helpful. First room was dirty and had a smell. They switched us right away to a much better room. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Only major problem was all the birds at breakfast buffet. They were all over tables and aggressive. Great place to stay and relax.

The resort was very nice and relaxing. Staff were friendly and kind and there were no issues with my reservation when checking in and checking out. Everything is accessible and walkable distance and I really enjoyed the stunning view of Kaanapali Beach. Definitely would come here again.

Our stay at the Royal Lahaina was magical. The ambiance, view, food, drinks, atmosphere, were exceptional. The breakfast buffet and trolley to nearby centers were a nice compliment, and the staff was always very helpful and friendly. We had such an amazing honeymoon at this hotel, I actually cried when we left! We visited a few nearby resorts for food and drink (even the Ritz), and each time we mentioned how much we liked ours better. The beach was like our own, and we even saw a sea turtle while snorkeling around the rocks. Very memorable stay. 11/10!

When arrived late our room had remnants of silverware and napkins that were never taken and a smell…which were never taken care of The amenities and things to do were immense and the live music every night was a plus I would stay again but perhaps been more vocal about the state of our room
