The room was fine, but there were addicts everywhere and people asking for money. We got harassed every time we came into the building and almost every time we came out. The cops even got called about one guy! People were sleeping on the couch in the lobby and it was overall just kind of scary.

Pros: 1) location 2) cleanliness Cons: 1) numerous people throughout the stay were hanging outside building entrances, in the lobby, and common areas that were not friendly, drink, had the appearance of being on some sort of “substance”. They were sleeping / laying out on couches, had no shoes on, and was yelling at/ cursing / demeaning guests that weren’t willing to just give them money / a handout . 2) loud. Rooms were not quiet ! Thin walls and could hear neighbors easily 3) staff wasn’t friendly. SOME were and others were NOT. 4) rooms literally have a sign on the door that says to make sure and lock deadbolt and engage door guard for our safety (inside room). Overall we did not feel safe during our 2 night stay and if we could have found another room and got money back; we would have left; but, it was a busy weekend in the town and nothing available and. I way to get money back. Told the staff “in charge” about confirmation from person and was told that the guy smelled like alcohol and that’s why he did it was acting like that. Anyway- apparently the reviews I read prior to this stay did not have the experience we had; but, no one should have to be put through what we were put through

Very clean room, friendly staff, convenient to jump on highway. For the price, it exceeded my expectations! Will definitely be staying here again when I’m back in KC.

Upon arrival I felt I was in an unsafe area since the front desk was behind plexiglass. Arrived around 9pm and had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to return to the front desk to check me in. The floor I was staying on smelled pretty bad with someone’s cooking. My room had a chipped tile that I kept snagging my sock on. The toilet ran until I jiggled the handle enough times to get it to stop. When I went to check out, the person behind the front desk just stared at me without saying a word. Not a great experience.

It was a nice average budget hotel; it was clean and respectable. The biggest concern was that the walls had no soundproofing, and we could easily hear our neighbors talking.

This is a longterm stay hotel that is not advertised. Nothing is offered, but some coffee. No food, pool, hot tub, and the internet is streeful, very spotty. Clean enough, but you have to drive a ways for any food.
