The location is perfect. A quiet spot in Old Town close to a lot of nice shops and restaurants. Not too far of a walk to Duval Street. The staff was very friendly and personable. I would have rated it higher except for 2 things: -The furnishings were run down, and in need of repair. The refrigerator was covered in rust spots. -More importantly, the toilet barely worked. It took an hour or more for the tank to refill between flushes. Water pressure to the sink and shower were fine. I reported it and was met with indifference. I was eventually told that someone would have a look at it, but no one ever did. Not being able to use the toilet when needed is not a minor inconvenience. It is unacceptable.

Good place for price!

Great A/C. Everything was adequate. The shampoo is so tiny I had to use both to wash my hair, but they did replenish daily. Room was pretty. Bathroom a bit dated but was fine. The only thing I wish it had was either coffee in the room or an earlier breakfast. We had a 7 am tour, but breakfast was 8:00-10. So I had no coffee to become the better version of myself. The office closes at 5 pm, not 7. They did let us check in late, leaving us our key in envelope. And they held our bags until our flight. I would stay here again. Expect “fine”, not luxury. Price very reasonable. Oh- breakfast had things for carb lovers and no carb eaters. (Deli ham, cheese). That was nice.

Room A/C was inadequate! the room temp was 84 when we arrived and took until 7am the next day to get down to 74, it was also loud. Indoor closed hallway should have A/C. Room toilet had to be coaxed and monitored. Water faucet on bathroom sink was loose and in disrepair. Some electric outlets did not work. No place to plug in things on bed nightstands. The pool looked too green to be safe to use and full of decaying leaves. There was no vent fan in the bathroom. This place needs help.
