Beautiful hotel and an unbeatable location! In my opinion, you truly cannot beat staying right on Sunset Pier—especially at the start of the best part of Duval Street. This whole area is the definition of “location, location, location!” One of the biggest perks was not having to fight the massive crowds at Mallory Square every evening. Instead, we could simply open the doors to our room and enjoy the exact same stunning sunset views from the comfort of our own space. Absolutely magical. The pool and pool bar were also fantastic. And a special shout-out to April—hands down the best bartender! She made our pool days so fun, and her energy was unmatched. All around, this is an awesome hotel in Key West. We loved our stay and would happily return!

Staff were very sweet and offered everything they could to make our stay the best. The room was comfortable and in good shape and recently renovated. The negatives were that the hotel was under major construction, including two elevators down. There was a sliding door over a window into the shower, not really our thing LOL, but it also allowed light from the bathroom into the room. The music at Sunset Pier was great. The food was just ok. Great location close to everything.

The hotel is very nice. The entire set up and location is great. However, they should fire the food and beverage manager as the fine dining and the breakfast was just horrible. That ruins the reputation of a good hotel.

My husband and I celebrated our 48th anniversary at the Ocean Key Resort the weekend of Sept 19th. Their were renovations, but the manager Craig and staff made our stay one of the most rememberable stays we've had in our journey together. I want to thank Ocean Key for providing an almost flawless weekend. My husband and I would like to thank the entire staff for that awesome weekend!!!

The rooms were beautiful, the staff and service exemplary. However: Construction made walking/access to pier inconvenient and dangerous. My husband, who is disabled, had to walk to the street to get an uber, instead of getting picked up at the door. We were not informed/forwarned about this when we made our reservation. The air conditioning unit in the room closet was extremely loud, and had a constant water drip.
