the property was a great. location. Staff was professional and nice. our floor had a leak in the floor that leaked at night . Fan was iffy at times. didnt eat there or swim but the proximity to the ocean was all we needed and close to Duval street and local spots to visit .

We enjoyed the layout of the resort and accessibility of its features including the multiple pools. The beaches were below expectations - the public beach was fine but a little small and not particularly well maintained, the private "beach" was just a sand area above a seawall, not an actual beach you could access the water from. Food and drink was fine, nothing to write home about. Our room was nice but our bathroom had an A/C vent running non-stop which we could not control. Resort staff could not fix this, so our bathroom was very cold and borderline unusable for the duration of our stay - this was a disappointment. Overall, a fine resort, nothing exceptional but nice for the price and would recommend for its value and location.

The location was great. It is close to all of the action, but you can stay on grounds and enjoy the peacefulness. The room was clean and staff polite. As an Expedia benefit we were able to check out late, 1:00, which was great since we had a 4:00 flight home.

The beach area was well kept with many lounges, chairs, umbrellas. The beach attendant Jeremy was lazy and disappointing, he sat most of the time, but Peter was very accommodating, he never stopped and couldn't do enough to please the guests. The restaurant was right there at the beach, the food was okay but we preferred to go into town which was a short walk. Coffee purchased at the beach area was good but expensive. I expected free coffee in the lobby or some common area, the expresso in the room was good. The rooms were clean with adequate storage area for hanging and a chest of draws. There are many beautiful pools which were very well maintained with ample towels available. Check in and out was very quick and easy. Roosters are everywhere on the island no matter where you stay, you may need earplugs so there do not wake you in the AM. You are not allowed on the beach until 7:00 which is disappointing since I like to start the day sipping coffee at the beach around 6:00- 6:30 AM, also the coffee shop at the beach opens at 7:00. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend Southernmost Resort to anyone!

Beautiful location - the beach was 50 feet from our door … and great cafes and bars both on the property and within easy walking distance. The concierge was very helpful in arranging reservations for snorkeling and sunset cruises. We enjoyed the free breakfast every morning. Our only complaint is that time went by so fast!
