You can’t beat the location and amenities. However, the staff didn’t seem to be able to handle the large number of guests during the week we stayed there. Room tech issues were reported twice, but never resolved. We also did not receive two of our VIP benefits: room upgrade and late checkout.

We liked the amenities with easy access to pools and beaches. Staff at the pools were excellent. Easy to walk end to end on Duval Street. On the downside, the room was incredibly small with barely enough room to handle our luggage. It was also loud and very easy to hear conversations of other guests above and next to you. The overnight parking fee and daily amenity fee per person make this establishment much pricier than expected. I am sure it is in the fine print somewhere but we were surprised.

When booking through Expedia they don’t tell you that there is a $60 mandatory resort fee you have to pay when you get there. Also if you rent a car or golf cart they charge you $40 a day to park it as well. They often did not come to clean our room till 4:30pm when we were needing to shower to get ready for dinner. We were left without toilet paper even after one room cleaning. The floors in the room were pretty dirty. Our feet were black when walking barefoot in the room and our room had these tiny little ants crawling around our room. They seemed to hang out around the air conditioner. The bar by the beach was a bit understaffed one of the days and it took about 30-40 mins to get a drink with many people walking away angrily. There are roosters all over the island but many were in the parking lot right outside of our room so if you’re a light sleeper, expect to wake up at 5am everyday. The beach is really nice at this resort, you have to get out there early to reserve a chair with an umbrella. They get taken up quickly so you have to get out before 8:30am to put a towel down. They have a few swimming pools but they are on the smaller side so we spent most of our time at the beach.

We loved our visit. The hotel was clean, and the staff were all available and helpful. The beach was gorgeous. It was great to have the complimentary chairs and umbrellas. Get there early, however if you want a spot!
