The Space: We want you to feel at home the moment you open the door. Our condo is located in Kauhale Makai “Village by the Sea”, a community nestled up against a charming beach; perfect to catch the most amazing sunsets. The property amenities include two pools, a hot tub, volleyball court, shuffleboard decks, putting green, several community BBQ grills with picnic tables, and evening tiki torches. Surrounded by beautifully manicured grounds swaying with various types of palm trees and banana trees. This slice of paradise offers a local and relaxed setting, maintaining a vibrant community. We are pleased to introduce Boutique Oceanfront Vistas. When considering your stay, please keep in mind that this condo is a studio. The space can sleep up to 4 people, perfect for 2 adults and 2 children. When the sofa bed is in use there is very little room to maneuver.
The Neighborhood: Kihei is located at the base of Haleakala, a sprawling and majestic 10,000 foot high volcano. Stunning views of the mountain are everywhere. Lined with miles of beaches, local food & shopping, and close proximity to many activities including snorkeling, surfing and paddleboarding. Fun fact about Hawaii- all beaches are public! There is no such thing as a private beach anywhere in the state. Together with neighboring Wailea, the area enjoys numerous shops, restaurants and “happy hour” opportunities. Kauhale Makai is a short distance from many grocery stores, including a Safeway, Times and Foodland. If you prefer Costco or Target swing by on your way from the airport!
Getting Around: Most of our guests rent a vehicle to get around, it's the best way to explore Maui. Kihei is close to the airport, about a 15 minute drive.
Other Things to Note: Please be advised that personal package deliveries such as Amazon etc- are not permitted, unless under medical emergency and with advance approval.
Our baby essentials are provided through Nokaoi Baby Rentals. Please visit their website at nakoibabyrentals to arrange your rental. You will pay them directly for the rental and they will deliver the item to your unit.
The state of Hawai'i collects a Transient Accommodation Tax of 10.25% and sales tax of 4.166%. Maui county has a Transient Accommodation Tax of 3%. We as hosts are required to collect this tax! Mahalo

The resort is designated within a hotel-zoned district and, as such, will not be impacted by the pending Short-Term Rental (STR) ban currently under consideration.
