The staff were fantastic! Best Irish Strip Steak ever! Amazing Irish breakfast! Dreamy place!! Definitely want to come back! Only downside, was hoping to actually sleep in the castle!
Love this Castle! Room was amazing and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again for a special occasion or just a weekend getaway while visiting Ireland.
This was a wonderful castle stay. They front desk staff were freindly and knowledgeable . As this was our first trip to Ireland on a self guided tour it was very helpful the staff at this property were wonderful. Very attentive to guests needs. They had the best fish and chips out of everywhere we ate in Ireland !!! And breakfast was superb. Thank you
Comfortable beds, large room, very regal. I felt like royalty. The bathroom was large with a huge shower. The grounds were lovely, the restaurant had great food, and I really enjoyed looking around. Had a safe snd fridge. Lots of electrical outlets.
Such a gem. Affordable luxury castle stay, with modern comforts in the bedroom. incredible full breakfast included. loved the pub on site for dinner eats and drinks.
Excellent hotel in beautiful surroundings
Staff were very friendly and helpful
Accommodation was lovely and car parking just outside the door was very helpful for my mother
The Property was wonderful, especially enjoyed the courtyard rooms. However, I was at a wedding at the staff did not even offer to provide an napkin with the Hor d'oeurves. It was a pretty upscale wedding and I the catering was done in house. The food was just okay, overdone beef and duck. The Breakfast was perfect.
We stayed in a courtyard room. It was beautiful. Really warm and cosy. Beautiful bathroom with large walk-in shower. Kettle, tea, coffee, milk and biscuits provided. We had our dinner in the bar and the food was amazing as was the breakfast. The whole place is spotless. The gardens are absolutely gorgeous. We had a walk through the forest. The staff are lovely and can't do enough for you.Definitely recommend.

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
This place is like a 3 star Hotel. The only thing thats nice about this property, are the grounds, nature and the castle idea itself. The restaurant is like an upscale sports bar, definitely not fine dinning!. The food selection on the menu doesnt match that what is shown on their website. Your options for a nice romanting dinner will be between a burger, sandwich or a wrap. It is misleading since you are planning a nice romantic night travelling all the way from the USA and your dinner selection is something you could get at any sports bar. No authentic Irish meals on the menu either. This place is located at least 30min from any alternative restaurants selection. The staff doesnt reflect that of any 4 star Hotel that I have ever stayed at. I had to ask the waiter several times for things thats pretty simple. The company is trying to sell staying in an upscale fairy tale Irish castle, yet they lack authenticity and some quality. Its was just overall a little disappointing compared to all the other places ive stayed in Ireland and Scotland, this was probably the worst.
