Everything was perfect until a reception staff who can’t speak simple English ask me to read about the housekeeping rules myself when I enquire. And the best part was she showed me a non English version and ask me to read myself.

Very nice clean looking room. Comfortable beds. (other reviews say otherwise not sure why haha). Great ammenities, and washing machine available(coin laundry).Friendly staff, helpful. 1 star taken, because of very bad wifi. I had to use my mobile data unfortunately because of poor wifi.

The floors were sticky and they only provided plastic reusable plastic slippers that felt dirty and old. The bath tub was also clogged. The bathroom had a weird layout, where the toilet was separated from the shower and the door won't stay open.

Great location but still was quiet at night. Super easy to get to all main locations in kyoto. The room was huge and plenty of room to open luggage. I liked how the toilet was separate from the shower.
