We checked in on a Saturday. I checked the room and the bed had a big stain on the comforter. I pulled back the sheets and I saw stains on the sheets. I took pictures of them. I went to the office and showed the lady. She apologized and asked me would I want to transfer rooms? I had already sanitize the room so I said no can I get clean sheets and a clean comforter. She gave them to me and said that she would let her manager know and housekeeper will come pick up the dirty sheets and comforter in the morning. Housekeeper never came. We checked out on Monday. I told another lady what had happened. She apologized and said that the manager or her will give me a call. As of 7:16pm September 1, 2025 nobody has called me yet.

There were scuff marks on the wall. But it was a nice &clean room. Also was told certain rooms were not available. I walked past same rooms empty my whole weekend. The staff was friendly. Make sure to bring food to snack on. Few restaurants close by. The steakhouse down the road is pricey.

The establishment was great, the service was awesome and the pricing is outstanding. My only grievances was the wifi wasn’t reachable in certain spots, and the location is harder to find than prepared for. All things considered I will be coming back at some point.

The location and scenery was great, but the Queen bed was very uncomfortable!! Me and my wife back was hurting after sleeping on the bed for two days. I do ask that they spray for bugs in the room or some type of pest control to better control of critters.

Very comfortable and quiet. It’s a great place to leave in the morning and return for bed in the evening. Other than a couple of fire pits and a nice distance view, there are no activities here at the lodge. The lodge is a separate facility from the Inn and the cabins. Beds are very comfortable and the rooms do have different options. There is no food served here so your eating choices will require a drive.

We always have trouble finding affordable and fun places that can accommodate our family of 6! However, Mountain Top Inn was fantastic! We enjoyed hiking, making a fire in one of the two fire pits, making smores, and playing family games in the big open space. The staff was fantastic and friendly! I lost one of my credit cards and the general manager called me and is mailing it to me! We will absolutely be back and recommend this site to families who enjoy being outdoors.

We stayed a couple of nights. It was in a quiet setting and was away from all the tourist-y type stuff. We had a slight problem with the bathroom "barn" door not staying closed. But we reported that to the front desk when we checked out and was told maintenance would get it fixed.
