Laguna Cove Hotel was a wonderful experience. The staff was super helpful and check in was easy. Enjoyed waking up to the sound of the waves each morning. Bathroom was spotless. And the extra unexpected amenities were such a nice touch. Will be back again.

It was very convenient, clean, and had a nice mattress. The late check in arranged ahead worked out great. We slept really well. It is quaint and charming, rather than modern and luxurious.

For the reasonable rate I wasn’t expecting a lot. The room was clean except for the floor on our first day. We were graciously given early check-in by a couple of hours, so perhaps cleaning was rushed. It did get cleaned the next morning. Otherwise comfortable, if very basic. Be nice when adjacent construction is done. Location is great and was worth any inconvenience.

The room itself was adorable — very cottage-core, with a cozy charm. The location was excellent, and the balcony view of the ocean was absolutely breathtaking. I loved being able to keep the screen door open and fall asleep to the sound of the waves all night. The property overall was beautiful, spotless, and had a homey, welcoming vibe. It is a little dated in places, but that just added to the character for me. The only minor challenge was that the front desk closes at 10 PM, so check-in has to happen before then, which can be a bit tricky. Other than that, everything was truly wonderful. I would absolutely stay here again — and definitely plan to in the future!
